3rd person POV
selene got up the next morning as they felt beetle licking their face and they smiled as they pushed his face away and they sat up in their bed as they looked around
"selene" tory called and selene turned to look at her softly
"i have to go but if they show up later is that okay?" tory asked and selene nodded
"tory of course it's fine" they said and tory smiled as she walked forward and kissed their cheek
"i love you" tory spoke and selene smiled at her
"i love you too" they said and they got up as they walked downstairs and opened the door for her. there stood hawk and demetri waiting for selene
"oh um hey" demetri said and tory looked back at selene as they shrugged again
"hi" tory said and they smiled as they moved out of her way and let her leave. they turned back to selene and they opened the door wider as the boys stepped in and looked at them
"she really does live with you" demetri said and selene nodded
"she does" selene said back and they sat down on the couch before selenes phone rang and they looked at it
"who is it?" hawk asked
"you won't like it" selene stated and hawk sighed as he looked at their phone and handed it to them
"it's robby" hawk and selene said and selene nodded as they got up and answered their phone
"surprised you're calling me of all people" selene sighed and robby sighed too
"we can't find miguel, he trusts you out of everyone selene , where would he truly go?" robby asked
"if he found his father or someone he thinks is him, he would make it a point to be with them. robby he missed a lot of time the way you did and now look at you. and if he's with him, we don't know what will happen . find him quickly and tell me what happens" selene said and they heard robby sigh
"thanks selene, i owe you" he said
"you owe miguel, not me" they stated and he sighed
"i know" he replied and the call ended as selene turned their phone off and headed back to hawk and demetri
"you alright?" demetri asked
"they're trying to find miguel, needed to talk to me about it quickly" they stated and they sat down on the couch between them . they sat there for a while as they watched the tv until tory walked in with tears in her eyes and she stormed upstairs to selenes room
"we'll go and let you two talk" hawk said and selene smiled gratefully as they got up and left the room . selene walked upstairs to see tory staring at the trophy and beetle with his head in her lap
"i didn't win fair" tory said softly and selene sat down next to her as she ran a hand down tory's hair
"but you did" selene tried
"silver paid off the coach, you should've won sel not me" they said and selene sighed
"are you okay?" selene asked and tory shrugged as she put her head on selenes shoulder and tory sighed as did selene
"not really , are you?" tory asked and selene nodded
"of course i am, tory . winning doesn't mean anything to me if you're happy" selene said back and tory lifted her head as she looked at them and smiled
" i do truly love you selene, thank you for caring" she said and selene nodded as they smiled and kissed her softly
"i love you too" selene spoke and they both smiled as they laid back and stared at the ceiling before selenes phone rang and they picked it up
"miguel" they said and tory looked at them
"selene i miss you" he said and they heard the tears in his eyes and they sighed
"are you okay?" they asked
"i'm okay sel, i'm sorry i scared you. i'm coming home" he said and the call ended as selene sighed and looked down at tory
"is he okay?" tory asked and selene nodded
"he's coming home" selene said back and they fell asleep. the next morning selene woke up and tory was gone. the sun was up and she heard noises downstairs
they walked down to see tory's mom and little brother in the living room
"hi" the little boy said and selene smiled at them
"hi" selene said to him as they walked over and grabbed some boxes. they brought them upstairs to the room as they helped them
"thank you for this" he said and selene smiled down at him before crouching down and ruffling his hair and he smiled up at them
"i love your sister and i would do anything for you and your family buddy" they said and he smiled up at them again
"i'm glad she's dating you, you're cool" he said and selene smiled at him
"you're pretty cool too buddy" they said and they started to help him unpack the boxes as they put all of their stuff in places where it should go. not once did selene see that tory was watching them from not far behind
she held a smile on her face as she watched her girlfriend laugh and joke with her little brother as they unpacked and laughed
tory felt her heart warm at the sight of them. for once tory felt at home with her family and her girlfriend
selene felt at home too, she hated her family but this one? she liked, this one made her feel happy and better about herself already
they were each other's homes
