3rd person POV
selene woke up the next morning and got dressed. they put beetles leash on and they drove to the dojo. they walked in and everyone turned to look at them with a smile
"you brought him back" Hawk said and beetle barked at them as they all smiled at them
"i had too, he needed to get out of the house and i knew you all missed him" selene retorted and they all nodded as selene closed the gate and let beetle off his leash. he ran over to the others as they all pet him and selene smiled brightly as they watched him run around
"glad you brought him back, we did miss him" miguel exclaimed and selene smiled at them as they all looked around and waited for their teachers to show up
"did you catch that video i sent of last years sekai taikai?" Hawk asked them and selenes eyebrows rose
"man, who knew people could kick that high?" miguel said and selene chuckled
"or that hard" robby said as he tapped hawks arm
"dude, seriously" hawk agreed and everyone stepped forward on front of them as beetle stood in the middle of them
" Guess that's why it's the biggest competition in the world." sam stated
" Yeah last year's winners did a car commercial in Taiwan" hawk exclaimed
" imagine being in a commercial. What would you do with all that money?" mitch asked
"actually be happy" selene said and hawk rubbed their shoulder
" Buy up with hot tub. Fill it up with smarties and hotties" chris said and he started to stretch as they all laughed at him
"all right, all right. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Remember, cobra Kai is going to do everything they can to get a spot. If they win this time, kids all over the world are going to have to do with the same crap you guys have gone through" Daniel said
"and we can't let that happen" selene stated as they made eye contact with robby and then hawk as they both nodded in agreement. selene wasn't just thinking about themselves or them but they were thinking about kenny and tory and devon. selene knew how kreese worked and it wasn't good. silver wasn't much better
" But if we win, we can show the world how to stop them" sam stated and selene nodded
