Hawkins Indiana, Steve's car

The four were silent the whole drive, mostly because Will had fainted, and he wasn't waking up.

Steve was speed driving to the closest hospital, when Robin spoke up.

"Mike, try to keep Will awake, we can't let anything happen to him!"

Mike nodded, and lightly tapped Will's face repeatedly.

Will didn't move. His eyes were shut tight, and his breathing was dangerously slow.

Mike lightly slapped him, and Will groaned.

He rolled over, not noticing his head was on Mike's lap.

He rolled onto his back, and instantly shot his eyes open.

"Ow.." He whined, grabbing his side.

Mike was holding a very bloody towel to Will's side, where he got stabbed.

Will felt his ankle hurting even worse than before.

"What the hell..?" He whispered.

"Don't worry, Byers. We're heading to a hospital." Steve said.

Will just let out a small groan in response.

Mike looked down at Will, and gently brushed the few strands of hair out of his face.

"What hurts the most..?" He asked.

Will didn't say anything, but his eyes lingered on the bloody towel pressed just slightly above his hip, so Mike instantly knew.

"What about your ankle?"

"It hurts." He sighed.

Mike gave Will a sad smile.

"You know, I was really scared. I thought we lost you back there.." Mike said.

Will shook his head.

"You won't lose me, Mike. I'm fine." Will mumbled.

The whole ride to the hospital was Mike trying to keep Will awake while distracting him from his pain.

After a while, Will felt weak, and although Mike tried to keep him awake, Will felt his eyes get heavier, and everything went black.

Beep.. Beep.. Beep..

Will heard beeping from beside him, and he slowly opened his eyes.

The room was really bright, making him close his eyes again.

Once he was sure he was fine, he opened them again, and looked around.

The beeping was a heart monitor..
He was in a hospital!
