She walked through the door
That separated this world
From the next,
She crossed through the border
To a world she had only
Seen in visons
And thoughts
Her lonely mind had
Conjured,
Walked Past the reflection
Of things she longed
To find, that lay
In wait beyond the veil
Of reality.

In past times she stood
Arms outstretched,
The background shattered,
Her heart crying out for more
Then was given,
Her angel
So close
Yet as distant as the moon
At night,
Beautiful
And mysterious
Yet as familiar as the day and night.

Her long kept dreams not completely out of sight,
Still hoping one day she might

Complete

Her quest to find that

Which for so long her crumbled soul

Had

Longed to find....

Still written in the pages

Of the fairy tail that she had had first

Believed she had left so far behind,

"Dream walk to me",
She heard her say

When the nightmares strike,
And protect you from
The monsters in your life."

"Dream walk to me", her lover said

And I'll hold you in
The safety of heavens warm embrace,
I'll love you forever
And I'll never stray
So far from you that you cannot reach my heart,

Forever I'll hold you in my loving arms.
