ode to love

Tonight as I sofly sleep,

my mind turns to her

the girl I love best of all.

Moonlight shimmering in her hair,

and all I am aware of is the sound of my heart

breaking through the silence,

my words caught up in my throat,

as my eyes drink deep from this vison

that stands before me.

Time seems to freeze,

and as her eyes meet mine,

all i can do is gaze in adoration, in adulation

hardly believeing shes mine .

So many words I want to say,

but none of them could add up the beauty of her,

or convey this warmth within my soul

that spreads like flowers in spring.

She is more then I imagined she would be,

and she is everything to me,

our lives interwined like a circle drawn in time,

and I do see my future stretching out so far in front of me,

A glimpse of perfect harmony...

illumanated forever within the beauty of her eyes.
