I felt water lowly fill my lungs, as if they would burst. I flailed my arms and legs around. I shook my head slowly as bubbles flew out of my mouth. I heard yelling and screaming on the surface.
I guess this is the end
Chapter1: please dont go
Suddenly, I woke up in a warm bed. I shot up and looked around.
"hello, young lady." said a deep voice.
I looked at him and inspected his appearance. he had black hair and ocean blue eyes. He also wore a split patterned haori and a demon slayer uniform.
"i-im Yoko Toda, 16!" i blurted out.
"well, im Giyuu Tomioka, 19." he said calmly.
"y-you're really pretty Tomioka-Kun!" i nearly yelled.
"thank you, Yoko." he smiled.
He left the room and came back with my blue kimono.
"go put this on." he gestured to a small room.
I nodded and ran in.
I came out after about a minute of trying and failing to tie my kimono.
"Tomioka-Kun! I cant tie it!"
"come here."
I walked over and he tied it for me gently.
"thank you Tomioka-Kun!" i beamed.
"know, I have a mission. And you cant come."
As he slid open the Shoji door, I slowly chased after him. He turned to face me and smiled lightly.
"ill be back, dont worry."
Then he left.
I didn't even get to talk to ask about Amaya and Yuna....
I tightened my ribbon and shifted my necklace.
I'm gonna go.
I ran through the forest until I came across a back angle of Tomioka-Kun.
"Tomioka-Kun!" i yelled happily.
His eyes widened and he turned to me.
"Yoko! You shouldn't be here! Leave!"
My big smile quickly faded.
"i- I just want to now about Amaya and Yuna!"
"that's it?! You came here, risked your life! JUST TO ASK ABOUT PEOPLE WHO ARE OBVIOUSLY DEAD?!" he yelled.
His angry expression soon went to a guilty one.
"i-"
My eyes began to water.
"j-just stay there!" he said quickly cutting of the demons head and running over.
"im so sorry Yoko, i shouldn't have said that." he pulled me into a gentle hug. It was nice.
"hey, Tomioka-Kun?"
"Yes, Yoko?"
"can you teach me water breathing?"
"of course."
