Chapter Forty-Eight

3rd P.O.V

Eda couldn't contain herself anymore and let's out a hearty laugh as she hugs her daughter happily.

Bump was the first to recover as he rubs his temple," Yup, you are definitely Eda's kid."

Everyone else chuckled at his dilemma as he continued," As much as I love to hear students wanting to emerge themselves in their studies. I have to say that you can't do multiple tracks at once."

Luz pouted sadly and tilts her head," But why? You realize that you are limiting yourselves and losing alot of potential opportunities in not mix tracks."

Everyone's eyes widen as Luz crosses her arms," While looking around town and talking to some of the shops we always go to, I saw alot opportunities where people can use their but because of those tattoos on their wrists, they can't do it. "

"Like when comes to animals! You guys don't have veterinarians for your animals or pets or that you guys don't have combine plant, potion, and healing to have a much better understanding of the two so that you can have the best possible medicine."

Bump, Eda, Amity and King looked at her as if she drew a second head as Luz just pouted about not being able to be in classes with all her friends. Eda couldn't be more prouder of her kid as debated with Bump on letting her do multiple tracks.

But in the end it didn't help much since Bump was very adamant on the one witch one track rule especially today.

"I am sorry Ms.Noceda-Clawthorne but you must choose only one track. We have an inspector from the Emperor's Conven coming today and I can't have anything out of the ordinary happen. But afterwards we may...talk more about multiple tracks is that agreeable?"

Luz nodded and thought for a moment," Then I choose the Bard Track to study!"

Bump nods and with a snap of his fingers, her clothes magically transforms into Hexside's signature uniform with the dark red sleeves to signify her acceptance into the bard track. Luz looks over at her momma and brother and let's out a laugh as they ruffle her hair.

After getting the last bit of paper work done and giving her daughter her book bag as she pats her head softly,"I will pick you up after school, if anything happens just send me a message on your scroll and stay close to music girl okay hun."

Luz nods and holds Amity hand as she waves goodbye to her momma and brother as they flew back home.

"Okay Luz, what's your first class of the day?"

Luz looks over her schedule.

9am: Advance Bardic Theory 101

10am: Chamber Choir

11am:  Orchestra Practice/ Boiling Isle Classical Music Theroy

12pm to 1:30pm: Lunch

2pm: Rune Class

3pm: Ballroom dancing

4pm: Bardic Magic Experimentation Class

"My first class is Advance Bardic Theory but I don't know where the room is."

Amity smiles and holds her hand," Lucky for you I do since I usually walk with Skara to her classes. Come on let's get to class before the bell rings."

Luz's P.O.V

"Alright class!" says the bard teacher," Welcome to your first Advance Bardic Theory Class of the new semester!!"

I was sitting next to Skara who I found out has almost the all the same exact classes as me besides Ballroom dancing and Chamber Choir.

"I love seeing all the familiar faces and as well as seeing our brand new student!!" I could feel my cheeks warm up as the rest of the class gave me encouraging smiles," Now let's start with the basics of Bard magic and go off from there."

I pulled out my brand new otter themed notebook that momma got me and started writing down the important bits of information and some that I didn't know about from my books.

'I'll ask momma about it when she picks me up. She knows alot about bard magic and loves it when I talk about it!' I thought about happily as I swing my feet while the teacher went over the history of bard magic.

Skara passed me a small note with a smile on her face when the teacher wasn't look.

I quitely opened it and grin brightly at the little message.

Happy first day of Hexside Luz, are you liking it so far?

I looked up at the teacher, making sure he can't see me and nod happily Skara as she giggles at my goofiness. And for the rest of class time we swapped notes back and forth while also taking notes when needed.

My next class was Chamber Choir in the auditorium and it was much smaller than my first class. The teacher here was a bit more strict but it was because they wanted us to be at our full potential when it came to singing. We even got cool long robes but mine had to be altered a bit since majority of them were really big on me.

It was just an introduction day and they told us we can mingle amongst ourselves. It was kinda scary since none of my friends were here but the other children were really understanding and pulled me into their group to play some kiddy Hexes Hold'em so that I could get comfortable with them since we were going to be working together for the rest of the semester.

So far, I'm really loving my time here at Hexside. Everyone here is super nice and I can't to tell everyone about my morning classes. Though I really wish I could take all the tracks so that I could be with my friends and spend more time with them.

'Hmm maybe we can have a game night at my house! I'll ask them when lunchtime rolls around. Gus is gonna flip when I show him Mario Kart!!!'

I couldn't help smiling happily at the thought of Gus, Willow and Skara trying to play the switch as the bell rang for use to go to our next class.
