Chapter Sixty-Seven

~The Next Day: Eion's Clinics~

"AHHHHHHHH I AM SO HAPPY YOU'RE OKAY LUZ!!!!" Uncle Eion cries as he hugs me tightly after giving me a deep health scan," YOU HAD ME SO WORRIED AND IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I'VE MY STAR!!!!!

I just laugh softly and hug back tightly," I'm sorry for worrying you uncle please don't cry."

Momma called up uncle last night after our movie night and he immediately told her to bring me to his clinic the following morning but that's not what surprised me the most.

What actually surprised me was the huge mob of witches and demons who swarmed me and praised me for helping them to finally be free from Philip's reign of terror. Everyone was enjoying their life to the fullest along with their magic as they no longer bared sigils.

All my friends even came with me to my appointment since Skara and Gus wouldn't let me go for fear that I would disappear again.

"U-Uncle... can't...breathe!!!" I tried to wiggle my way out of my Uncle's surprisingly strong hug while everyone else laughs at my predicament as momma pulled out her scroll and took a bunch of pictures of uncle ugly crying while hugging me to death that she would use for later.

After a while, Uncle Eion let's go and I could finally take a deep breath of sweet air.

"Now that I got that out of my system it's time for what you all have been waiting for."

Uncle summons a small folder and opens it," From what my deep scan showed was that Luz's body has completely undergone a magical metamorphosis. It's a theory but one that I think speaks the truth in this matter.

For almost the entire year that Luz has been living, learning, and unlocking her dormant magic here in the Boiling Isles, her body has been exposed to countless amounts of magic not to mention as well as what she has been ingesting, but that's not the reason she underwent this metamorphosis. You can actually thank the titan for that."

I looked at my uncle in confusion when Willow spoke up," What do you mean by that Healer Eion? What did the titan do to Luz?"

"During the ceremony, Luz and Titan merged their magic into one in order to free all of witch and demonkind from the former Emperor's terror. In doing so, that massive amount of pure raw magic overloaded Luz's body which unintentionally broke the spell that, from what Eda explained to me, the village elders placed on the newer generation when they fleed to the Human Realm." He gently waved his hand at me," What you are seeing is the perfect combination of a pure witch and human, and I for one thinks my niece looks absolutely adorable with her slightly pointy ears!"

I couldn't help but laugh childishly as my uncle tickles my sides, making my now slightly longer and round point ears flap a tiny bit. All the girls and momma awwed at how adorable my small fwip fwip was while Gus and King were just relieved that I was okay.

Amity pulled me onto her lap and cuddled me happily as she looks over at Uncle," What else did the scan show? Was her magic or anything internal change while her body was in a coma?"

Uncle turns a page and looks at us with a serious expression," Well let's go over her internal changes first then her magic. The one massive change to her internal structure would be her stomach and disgusting system. Mind you it is not as strong as ours but it is now stronger than it was when she first came to the Isles so that means the list of foods you are able to eat now is much longer and more open but that does not mean you can crazy. I will your momma the new list afterward."

I cheered happily at thought of all the new food I will be able to eat with my family and friends as Amity kisses my cheeks lovingly while my uncle continues," Now for your magic, um like before when your momma asked me to first scan for magic after your first performance. I didn't find the same bile veins or magical bile sack that normal witches and witchlings have the moment they are born. There was a detection of magic when that specific scan but when I tried to focus on where the magic would be all it showed me was your heart."

He drew a medium spell circle in the air and I looked in awe as I saw a 3D image of what my heart looked like and I have gotta say it looks so cool!!!

"Your heart along with your lungs are very different from ours and that has not changed. Because you do not have a bile sack, your lungs along with your heart are much bigger and stronger than witches which explains why you can run around for so long without being winded like the others but after the metamorphosis, I was able to pinpoint why your magic was centered there. Unlike us where we have a limited supply of magic bile for us to use our magic, you have an unlimited supply because magic literary runs through your veins!"

He then changes the 3D image to a model of my body and showed us how my magic really works," But there is a drawback and this could also explain why you always get super tired afterward. Your magic is tied to your health and the strength of your body and using too much will make you extremely exhausted to the point you will be knocked out for the day and you will be hungrier than Slitherbeast."

"So that's why I ate so much when I woke up yesterday!!" I exclaimed as I thought back to the huge amount of real food and pastries," But I do not reject it because holy crap, Hooty is one hell of a baker and I got to eat my favorite pie and pasta."

I hummed happily as I rubbed my bully, making everyone in the room laugh at how silly I was. Uncle then said I would stay home for a week to monitor me and then I would be healthy enough to go back to school but I have to watch out for how much magical output I use now which means I get to have extra magic lessons with momma and King!! 

Amity could tell I was really happy about having my hands-on magic lessons with my momma and brother but she also reminds me that I also have a bunch of stuff to catch up on before going back to school which I didn't mind since that means I get to have study dates with my amazing girlfriend.

And for the rest of my appointment, I was the happiest person on the whole Isles as I got to eat my favorite Ice Peach candy and got to spend time with the people I love. Now all I have to do is wait one more week and I can finally go back to school and see everyone else.
