A New Beginning

Chapter 8

After they left New Orleans ironically they went to Jackson, Mississippi because Klaus had a mansion there and it's far from New Orleans but not so far that it took them a long time to get there.

"Okay, the plan is that tomorrow we will resurrect your guy's mother," Hayley said.

"Our mother, why would we do that," Freya says outraged.

"Because we need her blood to kill Dahlia."

"And what makes you think she's gonna let that happen," Kol asked.

"Well, she's not really going to have much of a choice. Since Ava and I have retrieved the dark objects from Father Kieran we have in our possession the cursed shackles."

"The cursed shackles what do those do," Klaus asked?

"The cursed shackles were created in 1914 by Mary-Alice Claire and Astrid Malchance. When used to shackle a witch by their wrists, it prevents the witch in question from being able to use their magic," Kol said.

"How would you know that," Ava asked?

"I know because I was the one who ordered them to make it. A lot of the dark objects made in New Orleans were made because of me."

"What do we do after we resurrect her," Finn asked.

"So once we resurrect her we put the cursed shackles on her and then we're gonna need to take turns watching over her so she doesn't try anything."

"How are we even going to get Dahlia here because you have told me so far that she won't be able to sense Hope until she uses her magic? With Hope not being born yet, it won't be easy," Ava said.

"I have been thinking about that as well and what we should do is have Freya send a message to Dahlia saying that she learned about her brother's pregnant wife and wants to trade her freedom for me."

"That's not going to happen. I won't let you put your life and not to mention Hope's life at risk," Klaus said angrily.

"It's the only way to get Dahlia here."

"Can't we do this without putting you in that vile harpy's claws?"

"I have to be there. If I'm not she will probably find a way to find me and none of you will be with me because you'll all be somewhere else waiting for Dahlia to show up. When she doesn't show up then she wins."

"Do you really think this plan will work little wolf?"

"I know it will but knowing this family we might get a few bumps in the road before the plan is finished."

"Will Dahlia actually believe me about the baby and even if she does don't you think she will be expecting me to do something to her," Freya asked.

"Hopefully, it's convincing enough that she won't expect anything but if she does we can use your mother as a distraction for Dahlia then we can kill them both," Hayley explained.

"Wow, I think you are even more diabolical than Nik. You are starting to become my favorite sibling and we're not even blood," Kol said.

The next morning Ava and Freya started to prepare the materials for resurrecting Esther. While the rest of them help set up the room except Kol because he refuses to be in the room when Esther comes back because I quote "I have seen and done many horrible things but seeing mother completely starkers would actually scar me for life. Haven't we already been through enough when dealing with her? Why add more trauma?"

"Maybe Kol's right we should all leave and let Freya and Ava handle this because I definitely don't want to see your mother naked," Hayley said with a disgusted look on her face.
