A New Beginning

Chapter 17

Once Klaus and Hayley got home they heard a loud noise coming from the mansion. They make their way to the front door and open it to see the triplets wrestling on the floor with Hope and two pack members trying to stop them and the twins are sitting on the stairs covered in yogurt.

"What is going on here," Klaus yelled.

"You guys are back," one of the pack members said.

"We are, now can you explain to us why you three are fighting," Hayley said.

"It's Jason's fault! He took my paint," Chris said.

"No it's your fault, I asked to borrow some but you wouldn't share," Jason said defensively.

"Okay, I understand why Chris and Jason were fighting but why were you also fighting with them Andrew," Hayley asked.

"I tried to stop them at first but then it got a little out of hand and I let my anger get the best of me."

"Well, this family is known for having a temper so I'll let it go this time next time don't join in the fight."

"Okay, mommy."

"Now you two, why can't you both just get along? Chris, you could have just shared your paint, and Jason if Chris said no then you could have just asked a pack member to get you some instead."

"But, that would have taken forever," Jason said.

"It's my paint why do I have to share," Chris said.

"Chris it doesn't hurt to share and if you run out of paint we can just buy you more."

"I understand mommy. I'll share next time."

"Good now both of you say you're sorry."

"I'm sorry," they both said at the same time.

"Now that that's settled let's get you two cleaned up," Klaus says as he picks up the twins who are covered in yogurt.

A couple of weeks later they were finally finished working on the school. Klaus and Hayley told them that even though the school was a boarding house Hope is going to still live with them and the rest of her siblings when they're old enough to go to school will do the same. They really didn't want to be separated from their children so they came up with that plan.

"Are you excited for your first day of school, Hope," Hayley said as she placed Hope's breakfast on the table.

"I am mom! I can't wait to learn more about magic."

"That's great princess, I know that you will be the most powerful witch there ever was," Klaus said as he helped the twins eat their breakfast.

After that, they left the children with a pack member while they went to drop Hope off. As they get to the school they see Grayson and his parents just getting out of their car.

"Grayson!," Hope says as she gets out of the car.

"Hope!"

"Good morning Hope," Lisa says.

"Good morning."

"Are you excited for your guy's first day," Geo asked.

"Yes!" Both Hope and Grayson said.

When they get inside they make their way to the auditorium for the orientation. Alaric says a few words then Caroline. After an hour of boring speeches, the parents start to make their way out.
