Billy had been drafted and was sent to Vietnam during the war. He was very sad because he had to leave his Beloved Dahlia behind. She grieved equally as badly that he was going away. They longed for each other and wrote as often as they could. Then Billy was granted leave to come home for Christmas a year later and the first thing he and Dahlia did was rebond with each other. Oh how happy they were, and it wouldn't be long before the war was over and Billy would be home permanently. And as and added incentive, Dahlia had written and gold Billy he was going to be Father. When he got the news he wanted to go to her so badly but he braved it out and came home a hero. He arrived home in the fall to his beautiful pregnant wife who ran to meet him when she saw him coming up the driveway. They shared a tearful and Happy reunion. Billy and Dahlia just fell in love all over again. A week later Billy was awarded the purple heart and Dahlia was so proud of her husband and she knew their son would be so proud of his Father one day.
