Third Person's POV

It was the next night and both groups were getting ready for the big night of killing Max. While one group was up and moving the other was still sleeping. The hunters had tracked Max and knew where he lived and they also knew he has a hell hound. Violet was going to take care of the hell hound, while Thomas and Jack took care of Max.

She would have the hell hound "chase her away" when in truth she would be leading him to his death. The guys would break into his house and stake him. By the time Lucy would arrive the hell hound and vampire would both be dead so when she knocked on the door they would swing it open and stake her. They would then set the place on fire to cover their tracks. Once they had all their weapons they headed out the door towards Max's house.

While back at the cave as everyone is just starting to get up, well except the halflings as it still was day time. The Frog brothers were checking all their weapons making sure they all worked correctly and that the stakes were sharp.

"I think we need to sharpen a couple of these," Alan told Edgar.

"Yeah and we need to fill up on Holy Water," Edgar said.

Sam, Kylie and Laddie just sat on the couch and watched. They knew they wouldn't be any help to the two hunters, that they would just get in the way. Kylie couldn't help but smile at two of her mates as they nerd out over their weapons and she couldn't help but chuckle at the irony. Two vampire hunters that are now vampires are planning on killing their head vampire.

"What is so funny," Sam asked with a smile. She grabbed his hand and leaned her head on his shoulder, "I just think it is funny that they are vampire hunters at heart but are now vampires themselves."

"Yeah I am not so sure they are happy about that part," Sam laughed.

"Yeah but I think they would do whatever it takes to protect this family, " She said.

"You are right about that and you do know that you are the main reason all of us being a family is possible," Sam said.

She lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him, "What do you mean?"

He brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear with one hand, holding her hand with the other and said, "Kylie you are our mate you bring us together. You give us a reason to make sure we are all safe because we know that if one of us hurts, you will hurt and then the rest of us will hurt. We didn't like each other at first but because of you we grew to like each other. We even risked our lives to protect the others when not too long ago we were trying to kill them. You are the reason we are a family, and without you we are nothing. When Dominic took you it all clicked into place for all of us."

Kylie couldn't help but smile as she had tears in her eyes. She didn't know what to say so instead she pressed her lips to Sam and said, "I love you, all of you." She then leaned her head back on Sam's shoulder and cuddled closer to him. Sam couldn't help but smile.

They sat like that watching the Frog brothers sharpen their stakes until nightfall when everyone else woke up. Soon everyone was standing around the cave watching the Frog brothers.

"Do you boys need anything?" David asked.

"We just need Holy Water and we can get that at the church," Alan explained. Him and Edgar started to suit up with their weapons.

David nodded his head and looked away from the Frog brothers to everyone else. He smiled when he seen Kylie and Sam, they all knew what had happened between the two and couldn't be happier.

"Alright before we kill Max we need to feed to make sure we are strong enough to kill him. Is there any questions?" David said.

Everyone looked at each other and no one had any questions. They knew the plan was to let the Frog brothers distract him while the others come up behind him and stake him. David then looked back at the Frog brothers, "Are you two ready?"

They both nodded their heads. "We made stakes for everyone to have," Edgar explained as Alan passed them out. "Who ever gets close enough to stake him do it," Alan said.

Alan looked back to his brother then they both look at David, "We are ready," Edgar said.

"Alright lets g.." David started but a intense pain went through him stopping him half way. He dropped to his knees as did everyone else expect the Frog brothers, Sam and Kylie. The four quickly surrounded everyone trying to figure out what was causing them pain but couldnt find anything.

"David what is happening?" Kylie asked panicked grabbing onto his shoulder and kneeling in front of him. He was holding his chest right above his heart. He was gasping for air he didn't need.

"Mikey," Sam said as Michael was in a similar position as David they all were except for Laddie. The Frog brothers were helping him up off the ground checking him out, they couldn't find anything wrong with him.

"Laddie are you okay?" Edgar asked as he was kneeled down in front of him with his hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah I feel better than ever! My hunger finally went away!" He exclaimed.

The Frog brothers looked at each then at Sam and they all looked towards Kylie. She lifted her head and looked at them, they were all shocked, "He is human," Kylie whispered.

She was still knelt in front of David, "How is that possible," she asked him as she looked back at him. He was still looking at the ground gasping for air, and he managed to say one word, "Max."
