3rd person's POV

"To make you two marry each other." Hyunhoon said

"What?!" Felix and Xiu shouted

"Me? I am going to marry him?" Xiu asked and was about to hit Felix with her bag-

Hyunjin held her wrist "Dad is here, Xiu."

Xiu finally realized that it wasn't just them who are there, even their Dads. She calmed herself down and gave them a smile.

"Are you okay?" Xiu asked and hurriedly stood beside Felix

"What's wrong with you?" Felix annoyingly whispered

"Can you just fucking pretend?" Xiu whispered to him

Felix rolled his eyes.

"It seems like you two knew each other." Mr. Lee said and smiled

"No-" Felix

"Yes. I met him earlier at the entrance. He tripped because of my shoes and his nose bled because of that. I wanted to bring him to the hospital but he rushed in, so I wasn't able to bring him." Xiu lied and smiled

"We're also in the same class-" Felix

"We really don't approach each other. That is probably why I was so shocked to see him here and even more shocked when I found out I am marrying him." Xiu faked a chuckle

Hyunjin and Hyunhoon looks done with their sister's acting. They both knew how much Xiu wanted to hit Felix right now, but due to their Dad's presence, she can't.

"We're glad that you two knew each other." Mr. Hwang smiled

"Have a seat." Mr. Lee told the three

They all sat down and the waiter served their food.

"Just knowing that the two of you already knew each other, is a good thing. It won't be hard for us to introduce you two to each other." Mr. Lee gave Xiu a genuine smile

"Just like what Hyunhoon said, you two will marry each other. I'm sure both of you know how arranged marriage works? You guys don't have to fall in love to marry. Arranged marriage is decided by the parents, and you two will have a public announcement about it." Mr. Hwang said in a serious tone

"How about we do it like this? We will stay in the married life for a month, and if things didn't work out. We will file a divorcement, but we won't tell anyone about it." Felix suggested

"I agree with him." Xiu

"That was the first time." Hyunjin chuckled

Xiu glared at her brother.

"Things don't have to work out. Just like what we said, you two don't have to be in love with each other." Mr. Lee

"But we can still do what we want, right?" Felix asked

Mr. Hwang nodded "Until after the wedding, you two will live in the same roof. For now, you guys are engaged."

"We are?" Xiu asked

Mr. Lee handed them a small box that contains a ring for Xiu "It's a tradition in our family, to give the ring to the woman we will marry. Now, Felix will be marrying you, and that will be the engagement ring."

"Uh..." Xiu was speechless as she realizes how fast things happen "So, we're engaged?"

"Yes, as soon as you wore the ring." Mr. Lee smiled

Xiu looked at her brothers, she wanted to refuse but she can't.

"Okay, we'll give you time to think. For now, let's talk about the companies." Mr. Lee suggested

"Sorry." Xiu apologized as she thought she is being a hassle to them

"It's fine. Take your time." Mr. Lee smiled again

Meanwhile, Mr. Hwang looks annoyed because of Xiu taking so much time with accepting the engagement.

"I guess it'll be official once we signed contracts." Mr. Lee

"Yes, of course. I'm just glad that you accepted the offer. I am also glad that we will be in-laws because of our children." Mr. Hwang

"I think it's a good thing that you really offered the investment to me. I can finally rest assured regarding Felix's marriage life. I am just so lucky to have a daughter-in-law that is so beautiful and smart." Mr. Lee

"Don't say that. I'm also lucky to have Felix as my son-in-law. He never failed to greet me whenever we saw each other. Also, he is handsome and talented. No wonder girls wanted him so bad." Mr. Hwang chuckled

Mr. Lee signed the contract "I'll look forward working with you."

"Same here. Thank you so much." Mr. Hwang said and also handed him the contract he signed

Mr. Lee noticed Xiu who is froze "Xiu? You okay?"

"Yes." Xiu smiled

She looks dumbfounded. Felix was staring at her, watching her next move, if she will take the ring or not.

"Xiu?" her Dad called

"Sorry." she smiled and took the ring

"I think Felix should put it on Xiu's finger? Let's make it formal and sweet." Mr. Lee suggested

Xiu was shock and smiled "I can do it. It doesn't have to be like that-"

"No, we insist. Felix would do it." Mr. Lee smiled and signaled Felix to do it

Hyunhoon exchanged seat with Felix.

As soon as Felix sat down, Xiu stepped on his foot-

"Ah!" Felix looks so much in pain

"What happened?" Mr. Hwang asked

"I accidentally hit the table." Felix lied and smiled awkwardly

"I'm going to kill you." Xiu whispered to him and smiled at everyone

"Why? Our children will lose their Father." Felix whispered and smiled at her

"Dumbass." Xiu annoyingly whispered

Felix took the ring and held Xiu's left hand "Will you... marry me?"

Xiu was staring at Felix's eyes, hoping that he will show any hate to her through his eyes, but to her surprise, there was no expression.

"Of course, y-yes." Xiu smiled as she answered

And there, there is no turning back.
