Felix's POV

"Felix." Hyunjin called and went to me

I just looked at him.

"Have you seen Xiu? We've been looking for you since this morning. Where did you go?" Hyunjin

"I just got here an hour ago, Dad and I talked about the article he made."

"Oh okay. I'll tell Xiu that you left already." he said

I didn't respond and got in the car. I don't know but I feel like Hyunjin still doesn't know. He won't talk to me if he knows. Also, Xiu wasn't here? Where did she go?

I drove to the house with a really messed up mind. I am a jerk. I acted one, and continued taking that title. I was wrong. I was so wrong but I can't just... I don't know. I don't understand.

As I arrived, I saw an unfamiliar car. I went inside and saw Dad talking to someone. I just bowed as a greeting.

"Here he is!" Dad excitedly said

"I am Rye, the wedding organizer for your wedding with Ms. Xiuying. I would like to talk to you and ask for some ideas or opinions you thought of, for the wedding." he said

I didn't answer and sat on the couch. He showed me a lot of pictures and kept telling me that I should think of what Xiu wants.

"Tell him about your plan. He might like it." Dad said

"Dad, we need to talk-"

"Listen to him first." Dad said

"I have chosen beach wedding for you and Xiu, but your Dad thought that a church wedding is a must. We agreed to do beach wedding first because you guys are still studying, and we'll do the church wedding once you graduated. In the beach wedding, the theme color is blue and white, girls are wearing white dresses, while guys are wearing sky blue shirts or long sleeves. Meanwhile, you are wearing a white long sleeves and shorts, while Xiu is wearing a beach navy blue dress." he started and showed me some examples of the color and styles of the clothes

I just nod.

"As for the style of the place, there will be seats on both sides. There are flowers in every row of the seats. Also, we will put extra chairs for the people you and Xiu lost. For the party venue, we can see if there's a party venue in the beach and we'll plan it after that. Your Dad requested a five layered cake, the souvenirs are not yet included in the plan. About the food, you and Xiu need to go with me-" wedding organizer

"Excuse me, but don't waste your time planning on something that won't happen. The wedding is cancelled."

"Felix, what are you saying? Why is it cancelled?" Dad asked and stood up

"Xiu and I decided not to continue the wedding. It's a mess between us, and I acted like a jerk without even respecting her."

"What happened?" Dad asked in a worried tone

"The collaboration between the company will still continue under my name. To pay off their debt, I will sign it and gave them my shares in the company."

I know how disappointed and worried Dad is.

But this is for the best...

After Dad and I talked about what happened, I felt guilty. I lied to him and told him that Xiu and I agreed on staying friends as we both take over the company.

"Here, this is the contract. You can either burn it or throw it. It's up to you. I respect your decision, Felix. I hope you won't regret this." Dad reminded me and gave me a smile

I nodded and took the brown envelope with me as I left the house. I drove to Xiu's house to give her the contract for the wedding, and the contract that I will pay off her Dad's debt like I promised to her after the mission I gave her.

As I arrived, I lost the strength to get out of my car. I just sat there and stared at their house. How do I talk to her? I am sure she is mad at me. Will she try talking to me? How do I tell her? What reason should I give her?

"You deserve that, Felix. The hate."

My reason is so lame, and I was so selfish. Can I just leave the contracts outside their house and leave? I really can't see her. I feel like I will lose. I'll lose the game I started. This is so dumb of me. What do I do now? Beg her? Cry? Gave her lame reasons?

Fuck off, Felix. You lost her because you are a jerk. You deserve it. You played with her and was insensitive with Xiu. You don't just give her reasons and pretend like nothing happened.

To: Xiu
I'm outside your house. Can we talk? This is about the company.

And I didn't get a reply from her.

I got out of my car just in case she looks out her window. I am still hoping she would come out and cry for me. In that way, I might lose control and beg her to forgive me and have a fresh start.

But what can I do? I am a jerk. I played the woman that stayed with me all these time that I kept messing up-

Xiu came out and there was no expression seen through her eyes.

Not even pain.
