The F-3 is also difficult to handle because of the lack of information. In reality, it seems to be reworked from concept to concept, but for this novel, the i3 fighter concept that was previously set forth will be used.

Flagship Ise Bridge, Sagroa Base Fleet

Prior to the flight of the F-3 fighters, each ship is ready to launch its anti-ship missiles (SSM). The fleet commander, Captain Nakadai, gave the order to launch.

"All ships, fire the SSMs!"

Immediately after, a total of 56 Harpoon and Type 90 anti-ship missiles were fired from the quad launchers, two on each ship. The swarm of SSMs, flying at nearly the speed of sound, entered into terminal guidance after inertial navigation. Just before hitting their targets, the missiles flying up from low altitude pierced the magic barrier deployed by the sailing warships and exploded right above them. Flames from the explosion and a hail of missile fragments rained down on the ship's deck like an airburst shell, hitting the Slephen soldiers.

"All hit!"

The lances of the guardians were unleashed, sinking 56 enemy ships. More than half of Slephen's fleet had already been sunk. The ships in the rear were still trapped by mines, and the intermittent huge columns of water were blowing them away one after another.

"Launch the dragons! I was going to save them until we landed, but... we're no match for them if we keep sinking like this!"

At the command of Admiral Wilson, the fleet commander, the winged dragons stowed in the hangars of each ship flew up one after another. The sight of these ships was detected by the air search radar of the destroyers and the radar site at the Sagroa Base.

"Prepare for landing and attack the enemy forces on the beach!"

The command was conveyed through the faith shells, and the dragon riders headed for Talirisk.

Sagroa Base Airfield

The Sagroa Desert Airfield is the only overseas base where F-3 Reppu fighters, also known as "Super Gale," are deployed. Twenty planes were lined up in the middle of the sandy desert.

The F-3, which was jointly developed by Japan and the UK under the name of the 6th Generation fighter and completed in Terralus, has high stealth performance by using silicon carbide fiber, metamaterials, and electromagnetic shielding for plasma TVs as airframe materials, and has the counter-stealth capability with high-power radar. This enables the plane to more accurately detect the dragon riders of this world, who attack in large groups, from a greater distance. Soon after, 20 F-3s took off from the runway. On the wings of some of the F-3 fighters soaring above, there is something on board that is neither a missile nor a bomb.

"Launching TACOM Kai!"

It is the TACOM Kai, an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft developed by Japan. The previous model, TACOM, was approved for use in 2012 but was retired in 2016. However, research was resumed when the development of the F-3 began, and after numerous improvements and functional additions, it was reentered into service at the same time as the F-3 entered into service. Formerly launched only from F-15J/DJ fighters, it can now also be launched from F-3s after modification. After launch, it can return to the base runway automatically and does not require external piloting.
