it's been 5 months since tommy and i started dating and it was going great until bella came along. me and him barely have any time by ourselves; bella is always there.

i scrolled through my instagram feed when i got a message from bella. i clicked on the notification banner, sending me to our messages

" hey, come in." i smiled at bella as she entered the apartment. " tommy's not here by the way, he's out with his friends. "

" okay, tommy is actually what i wanted to talk to you about." she told me as we both sat down at the dining table. i furrowed my eyebrows.

" what about him?" i asked.

" well, you remember when me and tommy were hanging out at my place?" i nodded. " he kissed me." my eyes widened, tears pricking at them.

" what..?" i whispered. she placed her hand on top of my shaking one.

" yea, i'm sorry hun. i didn't kiss him back don't worry." she fakely smiled. anger overtook me.

" okay, thank you for telling me bella."

" i'm home!" i heard tommy call into the apartment. i opened my bedroom door and stormed over to him. my face was stained with mascara and tears still ran down my cheeks.

" i cant believe you." i shouted.

" what?" tommy said, taken aback.

" you kissed bella! she told me when she came round earlier!"

" no i didn't! she's lying i promise you."

" and why should i trust you?" i scoffed.

tommy began to speak, when i interrupted him.

" i think you should go." i told him.

" what? mae, i live here."

" not anymore."

tears pricked at tom's eyes.

it's been a week since our argument and i haven't seen tommy. ive received many messages from
him, but now i have him blocked. i don't even know where he's staying.

in all honesty, i'm not sure if he did kiss bella, but it's better to keep people away so i don't get hurt.

for fucks sake, i could of sworn i had him blocked. i read his last message over and over, until i heard a knock at the door. i walked over slowly and opened it.

" hey." tommy smiled softly.
" hi." i replied, not looking him in the eye.
" can i come in?" i nodded and moved out of the way, letting him in. we both sat down at the dining table. i still refused to look him in the eye.

" so, do you really believe i kissed her?" tommy muttered. i groaned and clawed at my hair with my hands, closing my eyes.

" i don't know." i whispered.
" well, i didn't. in fact, she kissed me, but i rejected her and told her i was happily dating you and that i had no interest in her." he explained.
" really?" i asked. tommy looked me in the eyes. we both sat in comfortable silence. soon, we were both leaning in. god, i had missed him. when we pulled away, he had that stupid grin on his face again. i giggled slightly.

" i'm sorry for doubting you tommy." i told him.
" it's alright, i get it." he smiled softly.

but i decided not to because i don't want much angst yipee
