How to Re-arrange your Room

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I haven't had much inspiration. But today, since it's the weekend I have time to rearrange my room. Frankly I do this every 3 weeks for 3 reasons.

1) I am open for simple changes

2) I have a lot of time

3) I enjoy experimenting

I get a lot of my room inspiration from Tumblr Photos and Bethany Mota room tour and her crafty DIY room decorations- not that I do any of them.

This past summer my Dad and I painted my room a new colour because the year before my brother and I had switched rooms because he was going into high school and wanted for privacy so we moved him to the basement. My room is 12x12 feet squared so it's fairly large which makes it difficult to decorate the walls. I don't decorate my door- I just have a wooden real color thing with my name. But none of you really care about that so I'll just stick to my writing step by step "How to Re-arrange your Room". Let's get started

Tools:

Step 1: Start off with cleaning your room- you can read my chapter "How to Clean your Room" for further instructions.

Step 2: You'll want to make sure you have a fair amount of room in your closet because you will have to put all the things that are on your dresser, book shelf or any out standing thing in your room- in your closet. Even your lamp, laundry hamper. All that should be left is your bare furniture.

Step 4: Start moving everything around. I suggest putting your bed against a wall in the middle of your room. But you can also copy tumblr room looks to see what worlds for your room size.

Step 5: Once all your furniture is in its new place- vacuum and dust your room. If you want to do yourself an extra favour- wipe down your mirrors and windows.

Step 6: Start putting all your stuff that you put in your closet where you want it to be.

Step 7: Make your bed nice and comfy!

My room walls are a lavender color with the doors and rim of the floor a tumblr grey?¿

I have clothing store bags on on wall, my sketches and paint swatches on another with Hakuna Matata on my "main wall". One of my walls is blank because I was going to make a photo wall with all my friends and I having so much fun but then I realized I don't have friends. I have a I'd say a 12 by 25 inch cork and white board. I write quotes on my white board and I put my ribbons, family photos and jewellery on my cork board. I have little stick on hooks on my closet door- I just put my school bags on there.

My closet is pretty neat- I use wonder hangers and boxes to organize my stuff. I read here on Wattpad quite often so I don't often read paper books but I do have a few that I've finished here in my room like-

I guess that's the only one but I also have

I have a chair that I throw my clothes on and a book holder thing that holds my drawings. Also I have quite a few of my paintings around my room.

I try to make my room as Tumblr as possible but I'm pretty sure my brother had a more Tumblr room than I.
