Sabrina's pov
"I swear to God if she wasn't my daughter, I would have skinned her alive!!!" I glared at Amethyst while she stuck her tongue out to mock me.
The actual nerve of this girl!!
"But Meth darling, why didn't you you speak with mom first huh?" Cora asked softly, stroking Amethysts hair in the process "mommy wouldn't let me say what I wanted if I told her" she pouted, feeling wronged and I smiled.
"Baby, I'm not mad at you okay? But you embarrassed mommy so much"
"Sorry mommy...Meth won't do again"
Aww my baby!!
"Mommy is also sorry for shouting at you earlier. I won't do that anymore" I said and pulled her in for a hug
"Tell me when you're done with your PDA so that I'll open my eyes" Cora said with her eyes tightly closed. "Wait....why are your eyes closed?" Lindsey asked, surprise written all over her face
"Because I'll feel like having a baby again if I look at them" she pouted
Again?
I couldn't help but laugh at her little show. "Trust me you should be ashamed of that. I mean, I'm supposed to have a grand baby from you but I'm not even complaining!" Lindsey said bitterly while Cora rolled her eyes.
These two have issues....
"We. Are. Not. Starting. This issue again ma!" Cora said angrily and Lindsey scoffed "why ran away from the truth because you can't face it"
I could feel the tension between them and I knew things weren't that simple. Why would someone stay away from their own mother for such a long time
Something definitely happened...
They continued glaring at each other and I couldn't take it anymore "okay that's enough! Amethyst and I are leaving!" I announced, standing up to grab my bag.
"NO!"
They both screamed and I raised a brow at them "what do you mean NO? I can't keep my daughter here when you two are looking like you're going to kill each other. So bye!"
I took my bag and dragged Amethyst to the door. I could hear hurried footsteps behind but I didn't even bother turning around.
"Sabrina...wait!"
Lindsey called out and I could feel the hairstylists eyes on me so I stopped
"Sabrina dear...we're sorry!okay? Please...don't go!" She practically begged which made me sigh 😔
"I have to go to the hospital. I scheduled an appointment today" I said without turning to face her
"Okay I get it...but you can't go with Meth...she's too young" she tried to reason with me. Before I could speak, I was cut off with a question which made me freeze
"Why do you need to go to the hospital?" Cora asked as she approached us; her steps syncing with my racing heart.
She didn't know....
I didn't want her to know...now I messed up
"Um... I had some complications when I had Amethyst...so-so I go to the hospital every month" I said with a nervous smile and she gave me the 'I-know-you're-lying' look
"Oh okay...I'm going with you and you're telling me EVERYTHING!. Ma, car keys" she said, leaving no room for arguments or protests. Lindsey handed the keys to her and shot me a sympathetic look.
We walked out of the salon, not forgetting to give Amethyst a chaste kiss.
Guess it's high time I shared my pathetic story with someone....
I feel like I haven't updated Sabrina in a long time...sorry😭😭😭😭😭
Sooooo....I didn't really like this chapter (dunno about you though) because everything is confusing
