I spoke my vulnerability to you,
but your emotionlessness let me
down.
If my heart was a devastated flower,
your water gave it a chance to stand
proud.
Now, my eyes met another whose gaze is slowly ripping the fibres of this rope I am holding onto.
You were the last piece this puzzle needed, but now you're gone too.
How can I forget those waves of pureness that I saw inside your eyes?
How can I forget your head tilting to my shoulder while we looked at the scenerey on the mountain crossing the skies?
How can I forget that you removed the barriers I had set against love for so long inside?
Since my love for you is true, this heart is still linked to you.
Bring me any pretty face to distract my eyes,
But this heart will always seek to be with you.
