Lyra Hale, the daughter of Peter Hale. She is always wanting to help her father but she knows he will never get better. He is stuck in a loop for the rest of his life. But she still has hope. She has stayed in town even after the Hale fire and she is now wanting to go back to school. To get a somewhat normal life.
Last school year her dad ended up being the alpha and the one who killed her cousin. Her cousin Derek then killed her dad after he killed many people who were 'responsible' for the fire when it was the Argents. And she started to fall in love with a pale human geek.
She befriended Scott McCall a newly bitten werewolf. And has slowly started to become friends with the hunters daughter Allison Argent and the newly bitten teen girl Lydia Martin who is not human but not a werewolf.
What shall happen this school year?
