How many of your friends have suffocated?
How many realise that it's no use?
How many try to run,
Run as fast as they can,
Until their feet are bleeding,
To get away from being suffocated?
Hoe many fail and fall to the ground?
How many fly high and freely,
Not worrying about being suffocated?
How many are now happy?
How many are no longer suffocated?
I write with a sigh, leaning my head against the library desk.
