Chapter 4

"But why would our parents wanna hide something from us.." Madeleine muttered

"Well, our parents are both assholes" I said

"I know, but nothing could've been THAT important.."

"Unless.. They don't want us to know something"

"But what would it be.."

"Damn this went from a calming walk to thinking about what our parents are trying to hide"

Madeleine chuckled

"Yeah" He said

"We should stop putting thought into this. We'll think about this later" I said

"Alright"

When he finished his ice cream, we continued walking while side hugging

Then my migraines started

'Ughh.. I forgot to take my migraine medicine.. Shit this hurts so much'

'I won't say anything though.. I don't wanna be a bother.. My parents always said that nobody wants to hear me whine about my pain. Though I don't really whine anymore'

I tried to ignore the pain while continuing to walk with Madeleine

When we got back home, I quickly took my migraine medicine

'That was hell'

I sat down next to Madeleine on the couch

"We should watch a horror movie! Unless you're not comfortable with it" Madeleine said

"I should be fine.. I just need to remember to take my hallucination medicine. My hallucinations can be terrible after a horror movie if I don't take my medicine" I said

"We don't have to watch one"

"Sweetie I'm fine, I love horror movies"

"Alright"

"Why were the characters so stupid in the start" I scoffed

Madeleine giggled and shrugged

"Your giggles are so cute" I said

Then I kissed him

"YOUR so cute" He said

I blushed a bit and smiled

"Anyways, I should get more work done" I said while getting up

I felt Madeleine hold my arm

"Please stay" He said in a slightly sad tone

'Why does he have to be irresistible..'

"Honey.. I have to catch up on work" I said

"Can I at least go with you?" He asked

"...Sure.. Just be careful"

"Yay!" Madeleine got up and happily followed me to my lab

"God your so cute when you're happy" I said while patting him on the head

"Please pat my head again"

I giggled

"Ok" I said

Then I pat him on the head again

"I should really start working though" I said

I sat down on my chair, and Madeleine got another chair and sat next to me

"Please don't overwork" He said

"I'll.. Try not to" I said

I kissed him again and began working

'Their work is so interesting'

I watched in amusement as they did their thing

They turned to me and chuckled

"You seem to be very interested" They said

"Well, your work is pretty interesting" I said

"I'm glad you think that"

Then they smiled

'I love their smile so much..'

'They're just so adorable'

'I just love everything about them..'

"Madeleine? Have you zoned out again?" Espresso asked

"Maybe" I said

They chuckled and pat me on the head

I smiled

Then they continued working

I looked at the time, then I looked at Espresso

"You should take a break.. You havent taken any breaks" I said

"I rather not" Espresso said while turning to look at me

"Do it for me..?"

I gave them puppy dog eyes

They sighed

"Fine.. Only because I love you" They said

"Yay!" I said happily

Espresso smiled a bit and stood up

I stood up too and followed them out
