"You're making a WHAT??" I exclaimed

Lava Cake giggled and walked to a desk with potion making stuff on it

After I found a way to get into the place Madeleine was taken, I snuck around

'I hope I find him soon.. I don't think she has good intentions'

"Drink up!" I heard someone say

"NO" I heard Madeleine shout

Then it sounded like he was being forced to drink something 

I hid my dragon features and went to the direction of the noises

When I got to a room, I opened the door

"Oh, you're just in time" Madeleine's kidnapper said while turning to me

"What did you do??" I demanded

"Oh nothing.. Nothing at all~"

I blinked

Then Madeleine woke up

"Oh Madeleine please tell me you're ok" I said while walking towards him

I was about to touch him when he pushed me away

"Don't touch me. I have a girlfriend" He said

"Huh? No you don't. You're gay and you're dating me" I said

"Tsk, no"

"Who even is this nonexistent girlfriend of yours?"

"Lava Cake"

Madeleine pointed at his kidnapper

I slowly looked at her

"Dude. What the FUCK did you do???" I demanded

"I said nothing! He's mine!" Lava Cake defended

"NO HE'S NOT"

"Madeleine! He hurt my feelings!"

"I'm a they."

"I DON'T CARE"

I facepalmed

Then Madeleine got up

"No way you're going to make my fight my boyfriend" I muttered

"I'm not your boyfriend. Lava Cake's my girlfriend" Madeleine said

"This is getting out of control"

"Yeah, so leave"

"YEAH GET OUT" Lava Cake exclaimed

"Lower your voice" I said scornfully

"NOW HE'S ACTING LIKE HE'S BETTER THAN ME!"

"Cause I am"

"You really aren't" Madeleine said

I felt my body temperature raise (idk if i said this, but i hc that espresso's body temperature raises when they get mad. sometimes it can get so bad that they combust. the fire doesnt hurt espresso, but it can hurt anyone else that touches it. espresso also knows how to use the fire as a flamethrower if they concentrate enough)

"There's no way you forgot that we are literally together" I said 

"Stop trying to steal my boyfriend! He's mine!" Lava Cake said while clinging to Madeleine

"How can I steal something that was mine?" 

"Maddie! Make him stop!"

"YOU'RE GIVING HIM A PET NAME T- I'm done"

"Of course, sweetie" Madeleine said

"SWE- BRO.. NUH UH..."

Then Madeleine stood in front of Lava Cake

'Great.. I'm being betrayed.. Again..'

'Wait, no. Don't be stupid. This is obviously a love potion effect. He wouldn't actually fucking do this'

"Alright. This is becoming too cringy and weird. I'm leaving" I said

"Good, and don't come back" Madeleine said

"Uh huh yeah whatever bye"

Then I left

"What does one do when their boyfriend basically got stolen.." I muttered while pacing

"What if they're both kissing right now" I continued 

I shuddered at the thought of my boyfriend kissing someone else

"This is all so fucking weird" I groaned 

"Anyways, all I need to do is make a potion to reverse the effects of a love potion.. However, I will have to make a love potion." I continued

"Well this process may be a pain in the ass. But at least it'll get me my boyfriend back if all goes well"

Then I went to my lab to begin working
