We went to the couch and sat on it
"We should probably eat something. It's like 7 pm" Espresso said
"Do you want me to make dinner? Or do you wanna go out to eat?" I asked
"Whatever you want. I don't really have a preference"
I thought for a moment
"I'll make something for dinner. Do you want anything in particular?" I asked
"No not really. I'm not a picky eater" Espresso said
"Alright. I'll think of something to make"

Eventually, I cooked something and we started eating

"Who taught you how to cook? This is just amazing" I asked
"I'm a self learner! My dad didn't really let me do anything other than train to be a knight commander.." Madeleine replied
"Reminds me of my parents.. But they forced me to be their personal maid. I had to learn magic secretly. I guess I picked up the habit of not sleeping from that"
"We both had pretty bad pasts"
"Mhm... But I keep thinking I'm forgetting something.. It's like there's a core memory that I forgot.."
"I feel the same way.. This feeling is so weird"
"Tell me about it"
We continued to eat
While eating, I kept trying to figure out what I was forgetting
'I'm missing something..'
'It has to be something about Pitaya.. Their palace just seemed to familiar when I got dumped at dragon's valley.. I can remember that moment vividly'
'Did they kidnap me or something?'
'I mean, I'm not complaining if they did. They are FAR better than my parents'
'In fact, it's like I actually fit in with Pitaya, Cream Unicorn, and Mala Sauce.. It's like I was meant to be part of their family'
'Probably because they're actually nice to me.. But there might be another reason that I can't seem to know'

When I was cuddling with Pitaya, I noticed that they looked a little down (would it be considered cuddling if they're on a throne-)
"My ruby.. What's on your mind?" I asked in a sympathetic voice
Then I realized
"Is it the thing you told me about?" I asked
"Yeah.." Pitaya said
