a filmy sky sheen so brightly blue
this city lad that village lass will woo
poor man front row - a wolf whistle blew
couples in those back rows - busily skew
cyan cinematic bleaches far too soon
yellow and magenta too looning tune
not in sepia sepsis a sun-washed noon
lip-synch songs - will he make her swoon?
into the shades will the wily villain fast fade
truants for a film - forfeit high school grade
hark back to the daylight's harsh abrade
but screen silver memories- just never jade
