A land amputated

Ruled and left divided

at the stroke of midnight

the peoples misguided

Unholy blood-shed generated

A great nation the parasites still sap

Steeple-fingers on troubled temples they tap

Politicians wail from towers, hypocrisy so rank

On rivers of blood, votes, fishily they bank

Terror veils in vale of flowers - betrayed, brave men dead

Lessons from history- never truer word been said

Patriots sacrificed their lives, incomparable these braves!

Ironic that now free, so many mindless slaves

Abject the need to pacify and please

Internalised colonisation a deadly disease

Veni  Vidi Vici - they came and conquered

Victor vector victim - now they bleat

On tolerant fleece the intolerant fleas

Wolves and sheep drink a river - blood runs.

To placate jackals as they continue to blast

Has pride so fallen in a nation's roaring past?
