Sunrise strands skein saffron these skies
Unbridled crescent, flagging the greens creep,
Diamond dew dirks and the dark sundered dies
Sundarban leaves, in surge wade dangers deep
Red flags the viper nest, camouflaged it lies
Striking the land sunken in stagnant sleep
A new dawn breaks and afresh hopes rise.
