Lupin the Third Part 2- Jigen's Seed

Part 4: The Fallen Knight

The plane lands on the run way and parks at the terminal.  You and the gang leave the airport together and take a drive through England and it's ancient surroundings.

It was a grey day in the country of Britain, a flag blew in the wind as you all passed by an old demolished building.  Everything was rainy and grey as if there had been no life, but there was, it was just all hidden inside every vintage home.  The people  woke up, worked, went home, and slept.  You looked out the window as you saw a rain drop on the car window beside you.  Lupin drove the car as he made way to an old shady looking  old home by the Liverpool docks.  

   It began to rain harder as you all got out and went into the small house together.  Inside was a lot different from the outside.  It had three bedrooms, and one bathroom and a small room for a mini kitchen, but there was no microwave.  The rain began to fall harder outside as you sat down in front of the cobble stoned fireplace that Jigen lit with his lighter.

Lupin: Ever since we got here things have been getting more and more suspicious.

Fujiko: What makes you say that?

Lupin: I feel like there's someone that I have always know that keeps following us.  Not Zentigata though, this feeling is just different.

Jigen: You did mention that there would be other people after the same thing.

Lupin: Yeah.  I did.  I'm sure we'll be fine though just as long as we know how were gonna find it, bring it to safety without being caught.

Y/N: You think Inspector followed us again?

Lupin: No, I didn't see him on the plane, it actually surprised me to be honest.

Goeman: I know what you mean Lupin.  I can sense there's someone after the same thing as we are.

Lupin: How can you tell?

Goeman: Its an old enemy gang, Scorpion, they followed us on the plane, though I could not do or say anything about it.  

Jigen: Scorpion?  I thought we killed that guy years ago, I mean that goes way back double time.

Lupin: It sure does.  

Goeman: It's not the same leader, but Misutā Ekkusu's Son.  I never believed it to be true but that stare was familiar to his own, and then I understood and figured out that it was Mamushi Ekkusu.  He's taken over his father's gang and is after us and the crown.

Jigen: Ekkusu's gotta son eh?  Bastard child I'm calling it.

Lupin: We have to be alert, and hopefully they won't find us as long as we keep quiet and incognito.  

Fujiko: I think finding this thing will be easy, once we've got it we'll go back to Japan.

Lupin nods with a smirk: Of course!  And maybe I'll just let you have the crown my princess.

Jigen snapped sitting up in his seat triggered: Dont you fucking DARE give that thing to her, were ALL just gonna keep it!--

Lupin: Calm your skinny ass down!  Gosh...I just like to put the crown on her and make her my princess~

Fujiko rolled her eyes:  Oh god Lupin-I'm not your princess.

Lupin: Awh come on you know you are!  An I can be your prince!

  You suddenly felt ill again, and there was some pain in your  slightly medium sized stomach now, you hunch over a little and grit your teeth hissing in pain.  Jigen sits up looking over to you.

Jigen: Hey~ hey you okay?

Y/N: Just some pains, I'm sure its normal.

 Jigen: Okay, just take it easy doll.

Goeman: She's entering second trimester.  It's the range of coming out of the illness phase, I can make you some soup if you like.

Y/N: That'd be nice thank you Goeman.

Jigen: Yea thanks man, you're a real pal.

Goeman stands and leaves to the kitchen.  Lupin lays back in the old recliner chair with his arms behind his head.  He lights a cigarette and snaps his lighter shut.  Lupin takes the cigarette out of his lips and blows a drag

Lupin: You know, I once remembered a knight that wore the crown of destiny.

Jigen: What was his name?

Lupin: You should remember this Jigen, he called himself  Yūkan'na taneuma.  The Brave Stallion.  But his real name is Tadao Kajiyashiki, he fought a long time ago and won a war when the crown was passed down to him.  However, he decided give the crown to his wife, Clarisse Kajiyashiki.

Jigen: The Castle of Cagliostro?

Lupin nods: That same crown is buried by the graveyard of the redcoats.

Jigen: But what the hell happened to Clarisse?

Lupin: Well since it was more recent, and the princess passed away sadly from an illness, which you should know that's broken my heart.  Tadao brought the crown back to it's original burial place here in England.  

Y/N: So the crown was dug up and reburied again?

Lupin nods: Exactly my good rookie.

Jigen: She's not a rookie anymore Lupin, she's one of us.

Lupin: Okay~ Y/N. *says sarcastically*

Jigen: Don't push it.

Goeman comes back and hands you the soup he had just finished making in the kitchen.  You thank him as you took the soup that had the yakisoba noodles in it with the miso soup.  Taking a sip from it, it tasted really good.

Jigen: And now you see why I trust Goeman more than Lupin.

Lupin: HEY! I can be a good godfather too!

Jigen: No, not really.  I've realized that.

Y/N: Thank you Goeman, it's really good.

Goeman nods his head with his eyes closed: You'll be just fine to go out tomorrow, just as long as you have your weapon with you.

Y/N: You really think so?

Goeman: I'm positive.

Jigen sighs: Well alright then, speaking of which, are we just going straight to the graveyard or do we have to go somewhere else before it?

Lupin: We've got the scorpion out there looking for us so we'll have to be cautious.  Plus there's a secret code on the box that's buried holding the crown.

Fujiko: What kind of code is it some number code, a letter code, a mix of both?

Lupin shook his head: None of those.  They just need a key.

Fujiko: We don't even know what the box looks like, how are we suppose to figure out what the key is suppose to be to unlock it?

Lupin shrugged: I don't know, which is why tomorrow we'll be going to the Liverpudlian Library to do some research!
