Lupin the Third Part 2- Jigen's Seed

Part 8: Criminal Pardon

You had awoken the next morning finding yourself not in the same location anymore.  Instead you found yourself with your child in your arms lying on the dusty gravel of sand...

The baby was still asleep however, you sat up confused seeing your surroundings as you were in, then you heard a lighter flick on behind you.  Jigen's puts a cigarette in his lips and puffs a drag.

Jigen: Someone decides to take us away and drop us in a frickin' desert.

Y/N: What the hell?

Jigen: I know I woke up the same way, can't see anything for miles.

Y/N: Where's Goeman?

Jigen shrugged: I don't know, but I have a bad feeling that someone did this on purpose.

Y/N stands up holding Jigen jr to your chest: No Lupin or Fujiko either, hm.  Do you think you know where they could be?

Jigen: No idea.  Which is not helpful cause even I can't find a way to get us out of here.  Unless we called Interpol.

Y/N: You mean Zenigata?  But he'll arrest us!

Jigen: Yea but it's the only choice we got, all I've got is a transmitter and it'll send a signal to the nearest helicopter in sight. Maybe he'll let us go.

The gunman pulls a trasnmitter from his coat and clicks it on and speaks through it.  Soon a helicopter came along within the sky.  It indeed was Zenigata and his police force behind him.  He was shouting for Lupin but instead was surprised to see you and Jigen together.  The helicopter lands on the sand and dry grass.  

Zenigata: What the hell are you both doin out here?  

Jigen: We were picked up and dropped off here, but we don't know who.

Zenigata: I should be arresting you both!  Why should I believe that?

Jigen: Cause you did us a favor and you saved Lupin long ago.  Remember?

Zenigata crossed his arms swinging his handcuffs around on his finger.

Zenigata: You BOTH should be in jail with Lupin as well, hell you've both done horrible crimes, you think I haven't forgotten about that?  All those people you've killed, YO--!

The baby in your arms started to whine a little and cried.  Zenigata stopped and his eyes widen just noticing the newly born infant in your arms.  

Zenigata: Y-you have a child?

You rock the child in your arms as the baby calmed down and fell asleep again.

Y/N: You gotta help us.....please Mister Zenigata.

Zenigata looked to the child in your arms, he then held his light brown hat adjusting it on his head.  He puts away his handcuffs and sighed in defeat.

Zenigata: You're both pardoned for your crimes...

Jigen in surprise: What?

Zenigata: I couldn't lock you two up, now that you've both had a child.  But I'm still gonna be after Lupin, I'll let you both off the hook.  Where do you need to be?

You look back to Jigen as he looked back to you in shock.  Jigen then looks back to Zenigata.

Jigen: We were hoping you'd bring us back to England.

Zenigata: England?  Jesus, that's over a thousand miles away! Hell more than that, you know you're both in death valley?

Jigen triggered: DEATH VALLEY?!  ARGH I'm gonna kill whoever the hell brought us and dropped us here!

Zenigata facepalmed shaking his head: Oh lord~ Okay, I need something in return from you both though.

Y/N: What's that?

Zenigata: Give me the location of where Lupin is.

Jigen: I told you I don't know where Lupin is, but we do know that Fujiko was working for the Scorpion.

Zenigata: The Scorpion?! Those guys again, the same ones that blew up the entire cruise ship when I had to side with you guys?

Jigen nods: Exactly man.  They were after my family heirloom that was buried in the Redcoat's graveyard.  Ji-Dai-suke- kanja.  It's one of the most priceless items of history, whoever wears the crown is either tyrant or seen as an honest leader.  It rightfully belongs to me, and I have a bad feeling those guys are gonna try become dictatorial.

Zenigata: I actually know the location of there hideout, Interpol's been tracking them.

Jigen: So you'll help us and arrest Fujiko an put an end to these guys?

Zenigata: Arrest Fujiko, wanting revenge on that bitch don't you?

Jigen blows a drag from his cigarette: The reason I call myself a misogynist is solely because of Fujiko.  She's always betraying me, Lupin, and Goeman.

Zenigata: Fine, I help you get to the hideout but that's it.  Your on your own.

Y/N: I'm coming with you to the hideout.

Jigen: No. You can't, you need to stay back with Daisuke jr.

Zenigata: I can watch over the baby!  Leave it all to me, I've got a daughter of my own so I know how to care for younger kids.

Y/N: I didn't know you had a daughter Kochi.

Zenigata smiled scratching the back of his head awkwardly: I rarely see her but, she's a good kid I'll tell ya.

You, Zenigata, and Jigen all get inside of the helicopter and are flown out of the dead valley and up into the air.  It was going to be a long flight so instead of taking a long helicopter flight, you both stopped in John F Kennedy airport in New York City and catch a flight to London.  It was a long time of waiting and having excess time.

   You breast fed your child, and continuously changed the baby's diaper every once in a while.  Jigen looked out the plane window, then back to you as you had fallen asleep with the baby in your arms.  He smiled as he lifted your hand and thumbed over the top of your palm gently, kissing softly on your cheek.

   The plane roared on the runway and lifted off the ground as the wheels retracted into the planes hull.  Soaring up into the sky and over the blue Atlantic ocean that stretched for miles an miles.

Zenigata was also sleeping on the plane with a neck pillow and an eye mask over his eyes.  He mumbled Lupin's name in his sleep. 

    Jigen chuckled shaking his head and looked back out of the plane window  as the blue skies turned to a blended glowing shade of yellow, orange, and purple.
