It had been weeks since Luz had her last "interaction" with Amity and over that time Luz was getting use to the Boiling Isles and it's weirdness. Today she was helping out Eda at her tent sailing human objects but soon found out business was slow today.

"Face it Azure you are no much for me! Join me and I will show you the power of the darkness." Luz said reading out loud for Queen as she showed her the comic.

"I will never join you Blood Born. Even if I have no chance of beating you I'll keep fighting no matt-"

"Oh for the love of Titian! Can you stop reading that trash, we're trying to run a business her!" Eda yelled clear annoyed at the at how witches are being represented.

"But Eda there are no customer her today, hell there are no stalls ether it's completely empty!" Luz point was proven extra clear by the echo that followed.

"Hmm. This could be a bad sign." Eda said as she got a bad feeling as if more craziness was going to happen today.

And as if on que Willow and Gus spotted the tent Luz and Eda was at. "Hey Luz what are you guys doing here today ?" Willow asked.

"Well apparently we're selling human objects to the air because clear no one here today. What's going on anyway?"

"Don't you know, today is the annual Magic Convention!" Gus said as he jumped up and down in excitement.

"Oh yeah! I forgot that was today. Man it's been while since I been to one." Eda said as it just now dawns on her what today is. "Luz! Drop everything we're going to The Magic Convention!" Eda exclaimed as she packed everything, grabbed Luz and Queen and rushed off to the convention.

Here we are the magic convention held every four years at the great Bones stadium. Where witches come far and wide to show off their new spells, potions and new techniques. Where people come to get stronger by challenging other witches to duels and possibly join a powerful coven.

That's how Eda explained it anyway. Luz was just amazed at how cool everything was. So many spectacular and amazing things to see and do, she didn't know where to start.

"Hey Eda what's a coven anyways?" She asked as they were the main topic people where talking about here.

"Well my human student a coven is a group of witches that specialises in one type of magic that come together to form a coven. In said coven they help train each other and improve their skills in their magic. They go on quests, adventures and treasurer hunts all for the benefit of improving their skills in a type of magic. Most covens reward there members that made significant contribution to the coven with snail, rare potions, magical artefacts and the ancient arms"

"Dang covens sound amazing, how come your not in one Eda?"

"Well they do have there disadvantages of course take for example of there." Eda pointed out to a coven as it was about to take in a new member. They drew a magic circle on her shoulder causing their specific magic to flow through her veins followed by the covens emblem appeared on her shoulder

"You see that Luz, in most cases covens give their new members those marks to increase their magical abilities in that category.
Unfortunately in order to do that all your other magical types get converted into that one. Leaving you only able to use one magic type effectively. In my eyes it totally messes with someone magical affinity not to mention it's a pain in the ass to reverse."

"Ok when you put it like that maybe their not all that great. Hey Queen what do think about all this?"

"I find the act of depending on others for strength pathetic. One should defeat their enemies with nothing but own power!" She enthusiastically said as grew a bit bigger to emphasize her point.
