Chapter Four

Harry's POV

About an hour and a half later, I see Professor Snape walking back in looking a little shaken. He spots me and makes his way over and sits down as gracefully as he can in a chair. "So, how are you feeling Professor?" I ask after a minute of silence.

"Shaken up." He replies, still not looking at me. "I understand, I was a little shaken up too when I read mine." I said, trying to figure out how to make this less awkward. "Where do you want to talk about this professor?" I ask. He turns his head to look at me,

"I'm not sure, unless you have somewhere in mind?" he replies, raising an eyebrow at me. I think for a moment. "Can I trust you?" I ask him, watching as he nods. I take a deep breath and show my professor my inheritance test, watching him read it.

The more he reads the more he struggles to keep his unfazed mask on. By the end of it, the mask was gone and his expression is beyond furious. I subconsciously shrink in on myself upon seeing his dark expression. Unfortunately professor Snape noticed and took a few deep breaths to calm down, then looks at me.

"Mr. Potter I would like to apologise for my actions, I was unaware of what Dumbledore had done to you. I hope that someday you could forgive me." He says, trying to look genuine. I understood that he doesn't exactly know how to express his feelings, and that he really was sorry. I smile softly,

"It's okay professor, you didn't know and I believe you were also affected by Dumbledore. I forgive you." He looks at me with shock written on his face. "I- Thank you Mr. Potter." He said, stammering slightly. I just smile at him and change the subject.

"Professor, do you know anything about my creature? It says I'm a hybrid but I don't know what they are." He finally gets out of his shock and looks down at my test. "I'm not entirely sure what a fire elf can do but I know that your father was a water fae as well. He used to be able to make things with water above his hands or just control the way the water flows." He told me as I listen in amazement.

"I remember him trying to impress your mother by making little water animals above his hand." I laughed a little, imagining what my mum's reaction would have been. "Professor, did you have a creature inheritance?" I ask him, wondering what type of creature he is if he does have one.

He looks at me for a moment then nods. I look at him with wonder. "What type of creature are you? And what are your abilities?" I ask in curiosity. He gives me a small smile before answering me.

"I'm a fire nymph. And as for my abilities; I can heal burns, the more severe the burn is the more energy it takes for me to heal it. I also have a telepathic or empathetic connection with nature and other nymphs. And I'm obviously extremely resistant to heat and fire." I laugh a little.

"That sounds so cool! Can you control fire as well?" He looks at me with a fond expression. "I don't control  fire Mr. Potter, I become fire. It's what you're gonna have to learn with your water abilities, you don't control water, you become one with it. Go with the flow is what the muggles say." I look at him confused,

"You know muggle sayings?" I ask. "Of course, I myself, am a Half-blood. In my school years, I gave myself the title 'The Half-blood Prince' as I am a Half-blood and my mother's maiden name was Prince." He said, looking at my shocked expression in amusement.

"Close your mouth Potter you'll catch flies" He says smirking at me. My agape mouth shuts with an audible click and I shrink in on myself in embarrassment. "Professor, can you please tell me about my parents?" I ask, biting my lip anxiously.
