Hewo! How is everyone? I hope you're doing well, let's look forward to my attempt of soft moments :D

YEJI POV:

I spun around in my chair as I waited for the new girl to show up by the entrance. Usually I would know who would be joining from my headhunter, Ryujin, but she concealed the name this time and didn't show any signed contract when I brought up the question with her. I looked up at my Rolex watch, eight o'clock, she's late and I'm certainly not letting her out of this with leniency, hell no, late is late and nobody who wants to keep in my company is late.

"Hey Seulgi?" I called for my secretary who came trudging in, trying to balance a large stack of documents. My instinct as a teacher kicked in and I tried to reach over to help her balance it but she politely declined then placed the whole thing down on the my desk with some scrap paper floating around at the impact. She collapsed out of exhaustion and I scolded her worriedly, "I know it's not my place to say this as your employer so hear this as your friend. Stop over-working yourself! Those arms are going to break one day..."

She ignored me and stood up, "Ms Lee is here by the way, she's waiting for you in the meeting room. She has been since 8:00."
What?! I thought it was arranged for us to meet in the office, wait- no... I did tell Ryujin that I'd meet her in Room A but not which floor (Room A on my floor was my office but the other floors' As are meeting rooms). There were meetings starting in Floor 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 whilst 7 and 8 required a special invitation to enter, don't ask me why - my sister started it, meaning that she could only be on Floor 4. Looks like I'll need to drag yet another employee up to the top floor, trust me, it's exhausting and meaningless which made be huff out of frustration. I should hire someone to do this shit for me.

"O-oh alright, thank you Mrs Bae." I said and bowed to her, she chuckled then patted my head before walking out. Normally she would have to bow to me because I'm higher up in the business hierarchy but she joined out of friendship so since she's my unnie it's only appropriate to do so. A weird but fun exception.

Oh, the lift's already arrived, did I really get lost in my thoughts for that long? I hope not, that would have an extremely bad influence on how people see me as a boss, I could go from have a boss-bitch-who-gets-everything-done charisma to honey-bunch-sugar-plum in an instant because people find spacing out cute. What is the world today... stupid. I pressed the button for the 4th floor and yet again admired the features of the lift, even after being in it several times it still looked like something in a dream. Last week they were renovated from marble to waxed wood since the latter would shine more under the light plus the weight would be less causing a reduction in chance of a lift accident.

Fourth floor, I disembarked and strode off with as much power as I could find in myself to the edge of the corridor where the girl would be waiting. I thought I was prepared to apologise and get on with the meeting but oh boy was I wrong. Everything came back flooding over my head as I gazed at the girl's gorgeous features, from her innocent hazel eyes to her hands which I have heard could do wonders to the people around her. Apparently as soon as she gets her hand on a project everyone's stamina and effort at least doubles, strong charismatic hands. I didn't want to be a pervert but I couldn't help but notice how tight and revealing her outfit was on her. It was a white dress-suit which hugged her curves and thighs perfectly, the colour made her shine out even more under the light and the low, slim v-neck made her look even more damn attractive. Her brown hair flowed off he shoulders with the elegance of a calm river sliding over the age of a waterfall.

"Ms Hwang?" she called out to me and I shook my head at the name.

"Call me Yeji, you've known me for a while already so no need for formalities," I replied and she cocked her head to the side in confusion. "Name's Hwang Yeji, your former dance coach."

Her eyes widened at my last phrase and she hid under the meeting desk just like when she got bullied at school by a bunch of girls after she rejected J-Hope, can't they see that she's a bloody human and so is Hope? Guess not. I tugged on her sleeve, trying to convince her to come out of hiding, and smiled reassuringly at her, "Hey, Chaer, shhh... don't be startled, I won't hurt you."

"B-but th-they said th-that yo-you were th-the one t-to tell them to b-bully m-me." Chaeryeong brush my hand away and a single tear fell from her eyes. My heart shattered all over the floor at seeing her so frightened and, most of all, by those absurd rumours about my so-called 'hatred' towards this cute fox-like girl breaking down in front of me. The longer she cried the more burning ire (not a typo btw) built up inside of me and replaced the suffering cold of water which previous inhabited my emotions.

"Who told you that!" I yelled at her and she flinched back, stumbling over and hit her head on the chair behind her. Thankfully she was alright.

"I'm sorry... Ms Hwang." she replied to me softly and sniffled in some tears. Yeji, you pabo! Ryujin told you that she's got phonophobia and here you are shouting at her then telling yourself you love her. Pathetic. I banged my head on the table top over and over until I felt some blood trickle down from my forehead. Suddenly a soft hand trembled but made an effort to reach up to my forehead and wipe off the blood. It stayed there until the blood dried then removed itself and cupped my cheeks.

"You shouldn't hurt yourself like that, you could've gotten a concussion." she muttered and kissed my forehead, I felt my cheeks burn from ber actions and my heart melt from her words. What are you doing to me Lee?

"Chaeyeon unnie used to do this all the time to Chaemin, Chaesoo, Chaeri and I when we had injuries. She said it'd make us feel better." She added on to her previous statement. It was bittersweet, she cared but it felt like a friend-zone, like she was knocking any idea of romance out the window. Of course she was so dense to do that straight up but there's always a hidden meaning to something someone says. WAIT- CHAERI, CHAESOO?

"-Ri? -Soo?" I flung my arms up in defeat, five kids! I was about to hit myself again but Chaeryeong caught me, her hand lingered wrapped around mind for a while and I couldn't help but smile at the skin-ship.

"So um-" she backed away coyly and turned to the wall to avoid eye contact with me. I could see a tint of rose on her cheeks, on the side since she was in a mermaid pose. Deciding to tease her I took her by her wrist and dragged her to her new office, 6D. Even though I did initiate this, we were both a blushing mess, our cheeks went strawberry rose from fluster. We panted through the corridor of the sixth floor until I swung the door open and pushed her on the couch next to her desk.

She looked around and gasped at her corner office. It was shimmering with beautiful reflections of the modernized furniture but what was that compared to the side view of- uh, the desk! The walls were made of glass which was fortunate as I could always get a clear view of her OFFICE during my break.

I sat down next to her and noticed a little cut on her hand, when I pointed at it she looked down and gave a little shocked expression. She quickly tried to wipe off the blood as she did before with my forehead but I brushed away her hand. Getting off the couch I knelt down and licked her hand slowly to take away the blood which was also trickling down. What a bloody day. I pressed my lips against her wound, sucked it lightly then pulled away with a light peck.

"Ye- Yeji..." she muttered, her face returning to the rosy colour it was a while ago, I put my fingers to her lips shushing her.

"You taught me how to heal a wound, I'm simply returning the favour. Don't overthink it." I replied. Aniyo, that's what I said but my heart was urging me to kiss her again and again and crown her with a ring of pecks. Not today I guess. She looked up at me with a gentle smile literally melting me like clay. I left the room and buried my face in my hands, how did I become so weak?

CHAERYEONG POV:

Teehee~ I didn't actually learn that kiss-heal technique from Chaeyeon but I needed a back up. Doesn't matter because mission accomplished! She's in a dither!!! Woohoooo!

Laalaaalaalaaaalaa~

Should I extend my updates to 2k words?

Ah fuck- my stomach hurts like hell. I mean I did go for self-defense training yesterday so that's probably why but 😭
