Over the next few days Steve and Eddie (Ozzy's dad) spoke more and more each time the end of the day came around, eventually Eddie gathered the courage to ask the teacher out, which was accepted willingly despite Steve's sexuality struggle.
And now Eddie was panicking to Nancy.
"What do people wear on first dates?" Eddie asked her, stood in front of his closet "oh god what if we both get the dress code wrong"
"Eddie it's fine, go in something nice that's still your style understood?"
"Well duh, I speak English Nancy of course I understand, what I don't get is how to impress him"
Eddie stepped aside, allowing the curly haired girl to go through his clothes, eventually pulling out a black long sleeved shirt and dress trousers
"Now go and get silver jewellery okay? Silver"
The metalhead nodded, going to grab his jewellery and get changed, when he came back Nancy had him sit down whilst she tied his hair back into a low bun.
"See? You look great"
"You're a fucking wizard Nancy Wheeler" he squeezed her tight and rushed out of the door
Meanwhile at Steve's apartment Robin sat on the bed eating Nutella from the jar as Steve dressed, making comments about what he asked her
"Tie or no tie"
"Psht, no tie, wear a chunky belt"
"What, why?"
"So he can pull you in by it" she stated, adding 'obviously' as an after thought
"Robin!" Steve gasped, adding it anyway "what dyou think anyway?"
He wore a dark red long sleeved shirt with black buttons and black dress trousers, sleeves rolled up and cleavage showing, Robin had made him shave his chest hair down because 'you're going on a date, not a Sasquatch costume competition'
"I think you should let me re pierce your helix"
"You think?.."
"Hell yeah, it's not even completely healed so it won't hurt that bad"
Steve agreed and ten minutes later he had a gold ring looping through his upper ear, after much complaining of course
"There, done, have fun"
With that she pushed him out of the door and all the way to his car
"Good luck dingus"
