S- I'm here with the girl who played Barbara Gordon, better known as, you guessed it, Batgirl. Yvonne Craig. Hi, Yvonne.

Y- Good day, Sammy. Hello, everyone.

S- Yvonne, you didn't become part of the show until the third season. Would you like to tell us why?

Y- Well. After the second season, Batman was starting to become a financial disaster. It wasn't making money so the producers decided to make the Dynamic Duo a Terrific Trio. They created Batgirl and I was the best option for the role.

S- Wow! Did people like Batgirl?

Y- Yes they did. She was so very popular. She even got her own TV show that Adam West made an appearance on. 

S- Did you become friends with Adam?

Y- I did. At first, he wasn't happy with the idea of a girl joining the Dynamic Duo, but he really grew to like me. But I became very good friends with Burt Ward because we both love animals very much.
