"bonjour monsieur!" jisung beamed as minho walked through their front door.

minho let out a small chuckle at jisung's attempt of a french accent as he placed his briefcase down on the ground and took off his work coat.

"jisung baby, what are you doing?" minho laughed as he looked over his boyfriend who was wearing a black tuxedo.

"i have prepared for you...erm..." jisung stumbled as he looked down at his flash cards before letting out a soft 'aha!' and smiling.

"may i present to you, your dinner for this evening."

minho raised his eyebrow as he folded his arms. "you needed to look at your flash card for that?"

jisung shushed him through giggles as he walked behind him and pushed him towards the kitchen.

minho's eyes widened as he looked over the assortment of food on the table.

"did you cook all this while i was at work?"

jisung proudly nodded as he gestured to the table filled with side dishes and bowls of different stews.

"je did indeed."

minho shook his head. "why are you french?"

"it's romantic!" jisung scowled as he directed minho to the sit at the head of the table before lifting over the first course, korean fried zucchini.

"enjoy!" jisung announced as he dramatically bowed with his arms out before shuffling back from the table.

minho looked at him puzzled as he raised his chopsticks. "are you not eating with me?"

"my dear monsieur," jisung sighed, still with his attempted accent, "i am purely your server for the night."

minho decided to let the one night of them eating apart slide. after all, jisung clearly went to a lot of effort for this evening to be perfect.

not to mention he looked absolutely adorable with his 'act'.

"thank you." minho nodded to him before beginning to eat the zucchini.

he was happy jisung hadn't tried to be too ambitious with cooking.

it wasn't like jisung wasn't a good cook of course.

it was more so the fact that a lot of pots and pans had been thrown out since they moved in together, purely because jisung would put on some music and completely forget he was cooking while putting on a show for the silverware.

pretty soon, minho had finished his first dish and smiled as jisung came tottering over to take it away.

"good?" jisung whispered with his usual voice, as though he had taken a quick break from his character.

"good." minho assured as they shared a quick peck before jisung straightened up and walked to retrieve the next dish.

"vela!" jisung announced, gesturing to the plate he placed in front of minho.

"voila, darling."

"voila!" jisung repeated as he once again gestured out his arms. "chilli chicken ramen with extra vegetables because a certain someone told me you would like them, monsieur."

that certain someone, of course, being himself out of character.

"wow." minho whispered as he looked at the dish in front of him.

even though it wasn't the most extravagant meal, it had been presented in a way that minho could see the effort jisung had gone to for it to look so pristine.
