the door had almost been forced off of its hinges as a very distressed minho had burst into the room.

the nurses in front of him were almost scared half to death at having jumped at the loud noise.

"jisung," minho panted as his eyes raked over every nurse present. "where's jisung!?"

"left corner." one nurse instructed quickly. they barely had time to point in the direction before minho thanked them hastily while running past them.

after arriving in eye sight of his boyfriend on the bed, minho threw himself to jisung's side and took a hand into both of his own.

"my love! are you okay?"

jisung had clearly been asleep and, as he miraculously hadn't heard the commotion before, jumped slightly at the feeling of his hand being taken though quickly relaxed at the sight of his boyfriend.

"hi, baby," he smiled, his soft voice doing little to ease minho's concerns.

"i came as fast as i heard!"

jisung couldn't help but laugh. "minho-"

"-did someone hurt you? is that why you're in here?"

"what?" jisung giggled as he slowly moved to sit up further as he tried to speak. "i-"

"-do i need to do something?" minho questioned, almost ready to stand and shoot through the door to find whoever was responsible. "jisungie, i swear, if someone is at fault i'll beat them up."

"love!" the younger again tried to reason. "it's n-"

"-just give me a name, jisung, and-"

"-minho!" jisung cried, hurrying to squeeze the older's cheeks into a fish pout so he would stop rambling.

"it is just a headache!"

minho blinked.

jisung took a light breath and enjoyed the short amount of peace he got, relaxing back onto the bed and lightly squeezing his eyes to help with the pain after getting up so quick from the scare.

"you poor thing," minho gasped, reaching over and gently pushing back the hair from his boyfriend's face as he frowned while looking over him.

jisung let out a small chuckle, humming in content at the small means of affection. "i'll be okay."

"no. no, we need to get you home right now." minho shook his head and was about to move from the bed though jisung was quick to take his hand, knowing minho would immediately still- which he did.

"babe," he playfully scoffed. "i can't go home from school with a headache, and you definitely can't be excused as well."

minho looked around at the school nurses, chewing his bottom lip in thought before he looked down at jisung who had once again lifted a hand to his head from the pain.

"i will find a way." minho declared, kissing jisung's knuckles gently before he moved away and strode the small distance to the other side of the room where a nurse was writing up jisung's report.

"unbelievable." jisung sighed, though his smile was nothing short of fond as he watched minho's increasingly wild gestures and directed points.

all the nurse did was sigh as he gave a small look to jisung, the two shaking their heads in unspoken understanding before the nurse was nodding to minho, more like trying to calm him down, as he turned back to the counter and lifted out a blue slip.

at the sight, jisung's jaw dropped. minho, however, wore a look of pride as he smiled smugly at the younger.

within fifteen minutes, minho was carrying his boyfriend on his back. his bag, and jisung's, in his hands as he made his way over to his car.
