cuddles at night💕

minho sighed as he walked through his front door.

as he placed his work bag down on the floor he noticed the house was near silent.

"darling?" he called out while taking off his coat and stepping out of his shoes.

after getting no response, minho decided to wander into the kitchen and see if he could get some idea of where jisung might be.

he let out a soft chuckle as he saw a pink sticky note, with a small cartoon cat on the left corner, stuck on the fridge.

"hi honey!
i don't know what time you'll get back tonight but if you haven't eaten yet, there's some leftover bibimbap in the fridge. if you have eaten i'll probably be upstairs, asleep, and expecting cuddles!!

"of course you are." minho smiled as he saw the time was only 8pm.

soon after they had first started dating all those years ago, minho was quick to find out that jisung could fall asleep no matter the time or place. additionally, jisung loved his sleep and so would go to bed extremely early.

minho silently thanked his work colleagues for taking him out for a quick dinner that evening.

as he didn't know how long the note had been left out, minho didn't want to leave his husband waiting for cuddles any longer.

he decided to leave his briefcase where it was as he made sure the door was locked before trudging up the stairs towards their bedroom.

the door was open ever so slightly as minho could see the soft glow of the lamp lighting up the floor.

once he quietly pushed open the door to walk in, his eyes softened as he saw his husband under the covers.

jisung was cuddled up with a pillow he had set in his arms. his long and wavy black hair was just covering his eyes as his cheeks were puffed out and his lips formed into a slight pout.

minho couldn't help but immediately crouch down and let his eyes wander over every single one of jisung's features he adored so much.

"hello, my love." minho softly whispered as he leant forward to brush some of jisung's hair out of his eyes.

jisung let out a soft whine as he cuddled further into the pillow while raising his head.

"...cuddles please..." he managed to mumble as he rolled over to his back and opened up his arms.

minho airily chuckled as he held jisung's hands, directing them back around the pillow.

"i'll be no more than a few minutes in the bathroom and then i'll join you for bed."

jisung huffed as he 'angrily' buried himself back under the covers. "you woke me up to say you're not ready for bed yet?"

minho had laughed at the muffled words as he held a fond smile.

"soon, darling." minho sighed as he planted a gentle kiss on jisung's head and walked into the bathroom.

he took his time to brush his teeth and wash his face, knowing that once he was in jisung's arms, he wouldn't be able to let go.

minho soon walked out to see jisung in the same position, only this time his eyes fluttered open at the sound of minho's footsteps.

"now?" he asked with half lidded eyes as minho happily nodded.

jisung shuffled back and moved the pillow from his chest to once again free his arms for minho.

minho got himself under the covers and opened up his own arms, a smile creeping onto his face as jisung immediately wiggled his body over to plant himself down onto minho.

"how was your day, love?" jisung yawned as he settled his head onto minho's chest, letting out a soft hum as minho brought his fingers into his lover's hair.

"it was okay," minho answered as he began to trace invisible shapes into jisung's shoulder blades. "i got a lot of my projects boxed off, and i think we're bringing new people to our team."

"oh that's g-great..." jisung yawned again before letting out a small chuckle. "i dressed soonie, doongie, and dori up today."

"what!?" minho laughed as he set his head back into the pillow, turning to try and look at jisung's face. "why didn't you send me any pictures!?"

"because~" jisung teasingly answered back, "it would have distracted you too much. plus, i want you to be here with me on the weekend and see how hard it was to get them to cooperate when i was taking the pictures."

"okay okay." minho smiled as he pulled jisung further into his body. "i'm excited. but for now, i just want to cuddle with my gorgeous boy."

jisung giggled as he nuzzled his head into minho's side and wrapped a leg around his waist.

"that's all i've been waiting for all evening."

jisung placed a light kiss on minho's cheek before settling himself back down.

"goodnight min, i love you." he sighed as he slowly closed his eyes.

minho gave him one last squeeze, relaxing his arms back around jisung's body as he nodded.

"goodnight, my love. i love you too."

that night, the pair spent their sleep with smiles on their faces, content in the arms of the person they loved.
