———I'M IN A ROOM WITH INSANE PEOPLE
———After training for what felt like forever, they were back at the gate with sore and tired bodies. But more determined then ever.
Kurapika and Leorio started to stretch while Y/n stood next to Gon waiting for the other two to be ready.
Yet they were interrupted with gate man saying "Hey, why don't you try removing those vests today?"
After he spoke those words Y/n felt relieved, clearly so did the others. "Oh? That's music to my ears!"
Y/n put her hands to the sides and unbuckled the buckles and threw off the vest. "I feel so light!" She grinned watching Leorio and Kurapika roll their own shoulders in relief.
"Without them, we can definitely open the gate now." Leorio said walking towards the gate.
"Let's hope so, I can't take another day of training." Y/n sighed following behind.
The three placed their hands on the gate and leant forward. "Let's do this Kurapika and Y/n! One! Two! Three!" Leorio called out and pushed with the others at the same time.
Y/n dug her feet into the ground and gritted her teeth. Just like yesterday, the gate managed to open the same amount. But it wouldn't open any more. It just stayed open slight ajar and anyone could tell from looking.
"It won't move any further." Leorio muttered sweat dripping down his face.
"One last push. Okay?" Kurapika suggested his arms starting to shake from the pressure. Y/n hummed in agreement not wanting to break concentration.
Before their final push, they saw another pair of hands join them, Gon placed his hands next to Y/n's and Kurapika's making them call out in surprise. "Gon!"
"Why are you using your left arm?" Leorio questioned turning his head slightly. He advised him not to put any pressure on the arm and yet here he was.
"It's okay, my arms healed now." He reassured .
"Healed?"
"Are you sure, Gon?"
"Yeah! Anyway, we have to push together right?" Gon said moving the subject along. Y/n nodded turning her head back to the wall in front of her focusing.
"Here we go!" He yelled as they all counted down from three and leant forward pushing once again, hopefully this time they'll be successful.
