[ The Next Day ]

Richard cut the water off and then hopped out of the shower as he grabbed his towel. He dried himself off with a lot of thoughts in his mind. When one problem was solved, another one was coming right after. He could never have a break.

After making peace with his son, he received a text message from Douglas telling him that he was not about to go down alone. So now, Richard had issues with Mr.Lazar too.

He couldn't believe it. He thought they were friends and could trust each other, but Doug had changed so much within these past few months. Since he began to bet on these basketball games, he became another person. Someone completely different and very greedy. Too much even.

Richard shook his head making these thoughts go away. It was not worth it for the moment. For now, he had to make up with his wife and to go back home with her and his children. They were his number one priority.

Then, he'll have to get Jessie out their life for good. He was really tired of her. He didn't even know why she was trying so much to have him since he made it clear that she will never have a chance.

He was hoping that all of this will be over very soon, because it was getting really annoying. After Mr.Kachingwe and his bullshit, Richard thought they had lived the worst, but people kept trying to mess their couple up.

The thing is that Richard and Tinashe's love was stronger than all of this, each other had the other's heart, soul and spirit, and their feelings and emotions towards each other were something so beautiful that you couldn't describe it. They couldn't stop loving, it was impossible.

As he was about to put his pajamas pants on, someone knocked on his door. He frowned pulling the pants on real quick and walked towards it slowly. By his way there, he grabbed a knife in the mini bar in case he would need it. He looked through the peephole and sighed in relief.

Knowing that Doug put him in trouble with him was starting to make him a bit paranoid, to be honest.

He put the weapon on the counter and then opened the door revealing his pretty woman. He immediately grinned and moved to the side to let her come in.

"Good morning." She greeted and then folded her arms.

"Good morning. How are you ? "

She nodded, "I'm good and what about you ? "

"I'm...missing you. I'm tired to sleep alone. Actually, I'm not used to it anymore." And it was the only truth. Even when he was going away for football, he couldn't sleep as well as when he had his wife besides him.

She looked at him biting on her lips and staring at his abs, "I'm missing you too. I spent the worst nights of my life these past few days." She sighed approaching him, "That's why I'm here. I want you to come back. There is no need for you to be here anymore. You finally apologized and stop that unnecessary drama between you and your son and that's all I wanted."
