•Chapter 34.

One week since the tragedy in the locker room happened and everybody at school was still talking about this. No surprise though. RJ knew that he was still going to be a subject of conversation with this. He couldn't wait for them to be interested with someone else's life. But for now, he was the center of attention.
And he didn't really like it.
The stares, the whispers, he couldn't anymore. He was tired to hear his name getting out of people's mouth. He only wanted one thing and it was for them to shut up.
He was already done with high school, but wasn't there in reality just yet. Fortunately, it was going to be Spring Break. He was about to have two weeks to relax and be far, far away from all these annoying teenagers.
You would think that he would be used to the attention by now, since he was a celebrity's kid, but he had never liked being exposed under the light. He'd rather stayed in the dark. And mainly, he didn't want to shine for drama, but for something more important, that will make him memorable, in a good way.
His goal in life was to be like his father and if he could even better. He wanted to play football and to lead an all team to become champions, like Richard Willkingston Senior.
And this was going to be at this exact moment, that he will like to be the center of attention. It won't be for useless drama.
He sighed as he made his way to the parking lot. He didn't want to eat what was in the cafeteria, so he was going to grab something at McDonald's. He got in his car and turned the radio on as he started the engine. No Flex Zone began to echo and he immediately was nodding his head to the beat.
As he was driving, he couldn't stop all the crazy thoughts to run in his mind. A lot happened these past few months, it was way too much to handle. But through all of this he was happy that his family stayed together and that everybody was supporting each other. They didn't fall off and it was great. He was really grateful, mainly for his parents. They were the best for him. If they weren't his parents, life would've not been the same, that was for sure.
He smiled as their faces popped in his head. He loved them unconditionally. And there was another person that he loved to death and who he was about to lose very soon.
Dorian.
No matter what they were telling him, he didn't want to listen to them. He wasn't about to change his mind and was fixed on his decision since that night. Even his own mother couldn't change that. He was determined to face the consequences of his acts.
His cousin was going in jail.
After Tinashe got everything in order to make his sentence shorter, they had planned to go to the police station today. Dorian was going to turn himself in to the police.
RJ took a deep breath trying to not cry. His cousin was his best friend. They had grown up together. They had laughed, cried, played and done some much together. They were more than cousins, they were brothers. Once, Kavon was always with them, but then he found friends about his age -him only being fourteen- and was hanging out less with them. But they stayed close no matter what.
