•Prologue.

"Happy is the man who finds

a true friend, and farhappier is he who finds thattrue friend in his wife."

-Franz Schubert

Tinashe and Richard were once childhood friends, who soon fell in love. Despite their young age they knew their feelings were real and took their relationship seriously. They were young, but they knew they were each other soulmates. Nobody could tell them otherwise.

They wanted to get married and spend the rest of their life together. They wanted to have children and get old together, so their love story could last forever.

"A successful marriage
requires falling in love
many time, always with
the same person."

-Mignon McLaughlin

With years came some maturity, which only reinforced their love. Certainty wasn't just a probability, they knew they made one and didn't want to be apart. So they decided to go to college together to allow them to experience life as new adults together, but one of these experiences let place to unexpected events.

"I love being married. It's so
great to find that one
special person you want to
annoy for the rest of your
life."

-Rita Rudner

With years come maturity, but responsibility calls for accountability, a commitment to the consequences of your own acts.  Becoming parents was a part of their longtime plan, but it wasn't supposed to happen before they graduate. That plan changed though as another human meant to come into the world, their baby.

College years suddenly became the most challenging years of their life, a crack in their so-perfect-lovey-dovey relationship, but at the end of the day they still had each other's back. After all, they became a family and a family sticks together, no matter what. Even though they broke up, they were going to share a blessing forever, that'll keep a warm spot for one another in each other's heart.

It hurt to go from lovers and friends to just friends that barely could hold a conversation without arguing about nothing. An act that couldn't fool people around them though because it was obvious that they still loved each other.

"Let the wife make the
husband glad to come
home, and let him make
her sorry to see him leave."

-Martin Luther

Years passed by, and neither of them was able to fall in love with someone else. Their love was just too strong to let go. One without the other, it was like seeing a man without his head; Tom without Jerry; Bonnie without her Clyde; the rain without the clouds; or a star without its shine. A fish out of the water, how could it survive ?

Tinashe and Richard tried to convince themselves that their love had failed, but deep down in their heart, they knew it wasn't the truth. After all, they once called each other soulmates.

But the lies and the denials continued. And it didn't help that a certain someone worked against them to assure that they will never be lovers again. Mr.Kash had never liked the thought of the two together. He was consumed with revenge and didn't want anybody to experience happiness, mainly Tinashe and Richard. He couldn't have his own love story, so why could they ?
