~Next Morning~

I woke up and got ready for the day.\/. Then I went and ate breakfast.

After eating breakfast Luke had walked out of my room with his military bag. Today is the day that he goes back. I go back tomorrow. I grabbed my keys and we left for the marine base. Once we were there I shut my car off and stuffed my keys into my pocket. Luke and I reached his bus. We hugged goodbye and he got in. I went to walk away when I heard Luke yelling my name. I turned around and he ran up and stopped he got down on one knee. This was not something I expected.

Luke: Dani Salazar, I know you made a promise to your 19 year old self promising to never fall for a marine or even marry one and trust me I made the same promise about military women but yet here I am down on one knee asking on to marry me

The team cheered and  Luke & I laughed. He continued his speech.

Luke: We haven't been together long but I feel like I know everything about you, i know you have an'older sister' I know your father left you, I know you dated Shawn, I know you have a dog named Bandit and I also know that you want a little girl of your own and I asking you to let me supply your needs by making the happiest man in the world and marring me so... Daniela Brooks Salazar will you marry me

i shook my head rapidly as he stood up and slid the ring on to my finger we hugged and then he got on the bus. I went to actually walk away this time when all the sudden Frankie took my purse and the rest of the guys lifted me up and carried me over to Luke's window. He stuck his head out and we kissed. I was set down told everyone good bye then I left for home. i have to pack my bag for tomorrow. Once I was done with everything I started working on my songs. I've decided that I was going to quit soon so that me and Luke can have a wedding done right.

~The Next Day~

I pulled on my uniform, Cassie was going to drive me to base today. Soon she arrived and we left. Once we were there I hugged her goodbye, got on my bus, then we left. Once we were in the helicopters on the way to the base in Afghanistan I texted Mom that I left for Afghanistan this morning and won't be back for a while. After we were in Afghanistan and all settled in we got ready to search tomorrow.

~Next Day~

I got ready to search the city. i finally agreed that I was quitting the year before Luke and I's wedding. What I searched the city in.\/

After we were done we went back and got to call/email our families. I had decided to email my amazing fiance first. i said ' Hello Luke, I know you don't know a lot about me considering we're engaged and you've known me for about 4 weeks so here's a little about, me. Cassie's mom isn't my real mom, my real mom passed away after my birth, Mrs. Salazar adopted me at the age of 2 my dad only comes around when he needs money, my favorite color is sage green and the color yellow reminds me of happiness. I have only been in one other relationship. There's nothing else that you don't know about me. I hope to hear from you soon. Love your fiance, Daniela <3' After that I called Cassie.

*Call*

Cassie:How's it going

Me: Good we searched the city today

Cassie:Find anyone

Me:No not today

Cassie:Oh hopefully this ends soon I already miss you

Me:Me too

Cassie: How are things with Mr. Marine

Me: Amazing we laid in bed and talked for a bit then we cuddled and guess what he proposed yesterday before he left look at this ring Cassie*showing her my engagement ring*

The ring.(It was his mom's)\/

Cassie: See yah I love you

Me: Bye love you too

*End of call*

I then left for my bunk. I laid down and went to bed.
