Changing The Past

Chapter 12

(Lots of different stuff will be happening :') So not everything will be accurate. Most of it, I just don't remember. XD But a lot of the other stuff is changed for the plot! This may be good or bad T-T Also I've probably forgot about some people. Please don't kill me XD They're probably getting more and more out of character so I apologize-)

Tears began to form as Chris slowly made his way onto the ground. His hand covered his mouth as he let out a few quick panicked breaths. Joseph was by his side in a second. "Hey hey hey. Chris. You need to calm down. They'll be alright." The brunette took a moment to slow down his breathing, wanting to be able to form a proper sentence. "No....No Joseph. You don't understand. This is how it all started. Jill and Wesker were left on their own. He'll turn on her a-and put her in a cell. Then he'll kill Captain Enrico. And Richard, he'll-" "Chris. It's ok. We can stop that stuff from happening. In your time or past or whatever, you didn't know about the betrayal. But here, you know everything. So, we can go save everyone. If we're fast enough, we can do it. Ok?" Chris nodded, slowly standing up. "Ok. Then let's get going.""Ok...ok...We need to get to Captain Enrico. We can't let Wesker get to him first." "Do you remember where he is?" "I don't know where he is now but I do know where he dies." "Lead the way." The two moved forward, killing any zombies that got in their way. Soon enough, they made it to the spot. "He's not here yet. So we'll just have to wait." Chris mumbled. "Jill....She won't die, right?" The brunette shook his head. "No. In my world, she's still alive. She's been through a lot of shit but...she's still kicking." "Kicking ass?""Ha...yeah. Kicking ass." "What about Barry? You never told me or Jill about him. Does he die? And what about Kenneth? Forest?" Chris sighed softly. "Barry turns on us. He had no other choice. Wesker got his family involved...Some fucked up shit....But he helps later on, joins the good guys again, ha....Tyrant...that thing attacks him-" "What the hell is a Tyrant?" "It's some B.O.W. that Wesker created. I know what to do to stop it. Um...Forest and Kenneth, they die. But I'll save them. We will save them. Enrico, Kenneth, Forest, then Richard. I'll save Kenneth and Forest since it'll be hard to explain. Richard, he gets bitten by a giant snake. It poisons him but thankfully Rebecca has the serum that'll help him. After that, it was his death. Not in this universe though. I'll make sure of it." Joseph nodded, taking in all of the information. "I...I can't believe that this is happening." Chris hummed in agreement. "Chris? Joseph?"The two quickly turned around, now facing the man that they wre both very happy to see. "Captain Enrico!" Joseph called out happily. Chris walked over to the once fallen comrade, giving him a hug. "I'm glad to see you." he mumbled. "Likewise. This place is a living hell. It's like a never ending nightmare. I hope that the rest of my team is ok. I lost them a while back." "I agree....We're actually going to look for them. You should stick with us. Separating isn't really a choice now." Captain Enrico nodded, now staying close to them. Another win. Just a few more to save. That's it. (This part is going by real quick bc I honestly can't remember how Kenneth and Forest die. I know that one of them died outside I believe. I may be wrong. But if they died before Bravo team arrived then...pft oh well ain't happening today 💅 So yeah...I'm just going to..yeah..Sorry T-T ~Time Skip~) It went by a lot quicker than they imagined. Well at least that Enrico could've imagined considering that he wasn't aware of the current situation. So finding and saving them in a short amount of time was a bit impressive, yet suspicious. Now that those two were saved, and will them, they now had to go find Rebecca and Richard. It was an easy find since Chris knew where they were. It wasn't hard to spot them in the middle of the hall. "Rebecca! Richard!" Enrico called out. "Captain! Richard was bit by a poisonous snake." The poor medic stated worryingly. "He needs a serum. I left it in the other room." Chris looked at her. "I'll go get it." He stood up before leaning towards Joseph. "Stay here and make sure that nobody leaves. Trust me." Joseph nodded. The brunette left to go retrieve the serum. Once that he found it, he grabbed it then walked back. The serum was handed to Rebecca, who quickly used it on the injured male in front of her. With the last of his energy, he warned them about the place. "He's unconscious." She informed. They let the poor man rest, waiting for him to heal so that they could continue on. (I know I know it would take longer to heal but I need to quicken it so that I can continue that plot T-T please forgive me my friends :'D) It wasn't long before their teammate woke up. He was a bit out of it. Must've been some kind of side effect. "Are you ok?" Forest asked. "Yeah...My head feels like shit but I'll make it." They would move on but going slow was needed. Before they move on, Chris speaks up. "Guys, before we go, I have to tell you something." Joseph was already aware of what was coming. "What is it?" Captain Enrico asked. "I've already explained this to Jill and Joseph....but I feel like you should all know as well. It would be messed up of me to keep you guys in the dark." The others gave him looks of concern. They could only imagine what it could be. "I don't know how to word this...but..I guess that I could say that I'm from the future? Or a different universe or-" "Chris, slow down. You're not making any sense. That isn't possible." Enrico spoke what the rest were thinking. Rebecca quickly placed her hand onto Chris's forehead, thinking that he might have a fever, just like before. The brunette pushed her hand away. "I'm not sick or crazy or joking around. I'm being as serious as I can be." "He's not lying. I thought that he was going crazy at first but then he proved himself right. He knows everything. Just listen to him...please. He's the reason why we're all still alive right now." That got their full attention. Chris nodded at Joseph before going on about everything that happened where he is from. It was a shock to all of them but they had no other choice but to believe him. "We need to find Jill. I think by now, she must be in the cell. Later, we'll cross Barry. Hopefully sooner." Chris stated as he walked alongside his comrades. They solved puzzles along the way, avoiding the ones that were not familiar. It would be too risky to let anyone else get separated. Soon enough, the made it to the spot that the brunette remembered clearly, where he had found his best friend. Chris stood there, mouth slightly open as a panicked expression formed. The cell was empty. "Chris, are you sure that this is where she was?" Kenneth asked. "Yes! She should've been here by now!" "Maybe I should go look around. She has to be nearby if that's the case."Richard offered. "No! No. No one leaves. We have to stick together. We'll- we'll search together." Chris quickly replied. The others looked at him in concern but didn't say anything. They just followed along, wherever the brunette would lead them to. The look of panic remained on Chris's face as he thought of where Jill could be. They could be too early or too late. "It's ok, Chris. We'll find her." REbecca reassured. he smiled warmly at her, silently thanking her for the reassurance. Now with a bit of confidence in their teammates survival, they continued their search. Rooms were checked, not really acknowledging if they'd been in the room or not. About twenty minutes had passed, no luck so far. They were just about ready to give up and wait, to see if Jill would find them first. That was until Richard called out to them, stating that he found a room that hasn't been searched yet. The group walked into the room. Immediately, Chris recognized it, remembering the events that had taken place. Once he got out of that shocked or panicked phase, he realized that his comrade was getting a bit too close to a certain spot. "Richard! No!" The brunette shouted, lunging forward, pushing the man out of the way. Just as he expected, that shark came flying out, pulling him into the water by his waist. He could hear his friends calling out his name. "Shit! I forgot!" Richard had his head in his hands. Chris managed to get free, now attempting to swim away from the creature. The shark bit his leg, trying to pull his back. With his free leg, he repeatedly kicked the monster, getting free once again. Enrico, being the smart Captain he is, came up with an idea. "Hold on. I've got this." He quickly went over to the water, using the knife that he had to cut the skin on the palm of his hand, drawing blood (Supernatural style-). He dunk his hand into the water, waving it around to make the blood spread and cause vibrations. This caught the shark's attention. Now that he successfully did that, he pulled his hand out of the water, not wanting to be pulled in. Joseph and Rebecca reached in, grabbing and pulling their friend out. The medic put pressure on the more serious bite, hoping that would slow down the bleeding. "He needs medical attention. The supplies that I need aren't with me. They're in the other room." She informed. Enrico approached the injured male, "I'll carry him." Rebecca nodded, stepping away. Carefully, Enrico picked up the brunette, carrying him bridal style. Chris groaned softly in pain as Rebecca put pressure on the wound again. Joseph stepped forward, taking off his bandana, handing it over. "Use this for his leg. It'll at least stop a bit of the bleeding." Rebecca thanked him. "This will due for now but if we don't-" "Wait. Do you hear that?" Forest asked, causing everyone to go quiet. What the man had heard were footsteps. Footsteps that were approaching the room. The members who didn't have their hands busy pulled out their guns, aiming at the door. After a few seconds of suspense, the door opened, revealing something that they hadn't expected.
