"I'm not coming"

Jimin said, eyes piercing the ground. "What? You don't wanna join us?" the girl asked him in bewilderment. He raised his head and looked up at the girl. "No" His lips uttered, shaking his head as a no. "But why-"

Her words seemed to stop as she saw Jimin moving away from the place. He turned around and ran towards the driver. "Take my luggage back to the house, please-" Jimin said in an unfazed tone. The driver nodded before driving back to your house. Jimin rushed towards his bicycle and rode followed by the car.

Your friends were upset about your absence but it didn't stop them from going for the most awaited trip in their school year.

Jimin didn't waste any seconds, as he soon reached the house.
_

He ran inside the house, his legs were already running towards your room. He could hear his heartbeats. That's how fast he was. He didn't care about anything for now. His eyes just wanted to see the girl who was the reason behind these pounding heartbeats.

His eyes were fixed on the half-opened door, stopping his legs at the door. Taking a deep breath, he opened it slowly. His eyes scrunched when he saw a grandma sitting next to the bed. Gulping down the hard knit that formed on his throat, he stepped inside, peeking from grandma's shoulder. There were you.

Breathing out, he closed the distance between him and the bed. You were leaning on the headboard with no strength and grandma was feeding you some tasteless food into your mouth. Your eyes were fixed on the pill bottle as you were playing with it. He cleared his throat, dying for the attention from you.

Your weak tired eyes raised and saw Jimin standing in front of you. Grandma looked back at the boy who was sweating a lot out of this cold weather. You were contemplating many thoughts at the sight of him. Your words were forming, but not coming out of your mouth.

"H-How are you?" he spoke, gaining all the courage as he was crushing the hem of his shirt. He didn't even mind wiping away the sweats from his forehead. You couldn't help but chuckle immediately, staring at him. "Instead of having those delicious meatballs soup in fucking Indonesia, I'm having this colorless-tasteless soup in my fucking bedroom, you think I'm good, Jimin?"

Jimin's lips parted apart from your words, he had no words to talk back to you. Grandma didn't mind feeding you another scoop of soup. "Ahh, enough halmeoni, I feel like I would puke right now-" you said, pushing the bowl away. "Ms YN, you need to be fine soon. Have it" she insisted while you shook your head as a no.

"Halmeoni, you must have other work, give this to me and go," Jimin smiled faintly at the old woman. "Uh- okay, Jimin dear," she said, handing the bowl to Jimin and stepping out of the room. Jimin saw her until she was leaving the room and locking the door. He sighed and turned to your side with the bowl in his hand.

"You better throw that away or your body's gonna stink with my puke," you said, crossing your arms, but he didn't fail to stop himself from coming close to you until he got seated next to you on the bed. "Open your mouth only to eat-" he said, wanting to stop talking rubbish as you were already weak.

Clearing his throat once again, his eyes fell on your tired puffy ones. "Here-" he said, trying to feed you, but you shook your head, turning away. "Jimin, please-" you said, as you really didn't feel like eating anything. "Don't be a brat or else I will leave for Indonesia alone-" he said, that's when you remembered about the trip.

"The fuck? Why didn't you go? You are supposed to be in the airport now-" you checked the wall clock "You should be boarding right now. You can't even go inside the checking even if you leave now. What's wrong?" you asked, stacking him with your numerous questions. "Drink this, I will say." he sighed, gulping down.

"Fineeee." you whined, getting fed by him. He was gathering up words to speak, while you were just focusing on his flawless chubby face. He licked his lips, scared if you would hear his fast-pounding heartbeats that have been beating unrhythmically since he entered this room. He tried not to look into your eyes or his poor heart would explode with the number of feelings he was having.

"Jimin-" you called, his eyebrows raised, his doe eyes stared at you, while those plump lips said yes. That look broke your heart and it gave you a pain that you wanted to endure for another lifetime. Can he stop being cute for one second?

"Why did you come here?" you muttered, your voice sounding so low yet calm, but for him, it sounded like a football field away. Was he lost in thoughts or in you?

You licked your lips and tried to ask him again but your words stopped forming as you gifted him some time to speak rather than being a talkative girl. After forever, he blinked his eyes, coming away from the trance he was so in.

"I heard you weren't well, so I really didn't feel like going there alone" he didn't know he was way too courageous before. He said his heart out. Yes. That's what he felt. He really didn't wanna go there, thinking he would be alone, while there would be 38 other classmates of his. No way he felt alone yet he did.

Your lips parted apart at his confession. It was you who brought the tickets for him, it was you helping him to get the clothes as well. So it wouldn't be nice going there when you were not feeling healthy. That's why, isn't that? Is that all why? Was he just being nice for all the things you did? Or is it more than that?

"Oh-" you said, looking away. The pill bottle in your hand was getting squished at the sudden nervousness surrounding the both of you. "Here-" you looked at him, while he was feeding you the food. You threw the bottle on the bed. "It's okay, I will have it myself," you said, getting the bowl in your hand. "Are you sure?" he asked, his doe eyes didn't stop staring at you.

"Very sure, Jimin-" you were smiling, trying to break the awkwardness. He hummed, looking at the pill bottle. "Don't forget to take the pills as well-" he said, putting it on your lap. "Sureee" you said, drinking your unfavorite soup. He couldn't help but chuckle at the expressions you were making while drinking the soup.

He stood up from the bed, hands in his pockets. "Call me if you want anything, YN," he said, your face lit up when he said your name. You nodded your head with a smile. He smiled back and turned away towards the door. "Uh Jimin" you called, making him stop his moves and stare back at you.

"Your passport is still with me. Even if you'd decided to go then, you couldn't have gone." you held back your laugh, while he ruffled his hair as he remembered, he himself gave you his passport last night. "Ahh. Actually, I came back for the passport, not for you," he said, holding back his laugh as well while your eyes widened with his words.

"Come here, lemme kill you and make meatballs out of it. I bet it would be tastier than the Indonesian Bakso" you said, stepping out of your bed, while he giggled and ran away from your room. You sighed heavily, unbelievable at his words. You could still hear his laugh, while he was running downstairs.

"Am I not worth a passport?" you flipped your hair and sat back on your bed. You looked back at the locked door before continuing your food. Your facial expression changed quickly as you tasted it again.
