Gulat akong nakatingin kay Lysander ng sabihin niya ang salitang 'yon.

Ano raw? Siya? Siya yung taong magkakagusto sa tulad ko? tsk no way! Masiyadong mayaman

"Haha! Joke time ba 'to? Kung joke time 'to hindi nakakatuwa, kasi seryoso yung tanong ko." Kunwari pang natatawa kong saad. Seryoso naman siyang tumingin sa'kin.

"I'm serious, Tanya." Lysander said. His face was dead serious.

"No, you're not. Paano ka magkakagusto sa isang tulad ko? Mahirap, hindi magand-" Pinigilan niya ang salitang gusto kong sabihin.

"Maganda ka, you're gorgeous. The way you laugh. The way you smile. Everything about you is just beautiful. Ang problema lang is hindi ka nag-aayos at isa pa, wala naman akong pake kung mahirap ka." Lysander said.

"What does that mean? You think I'm pretty?" There was no mistaking the small smile that spread on his lips at his words.

"I've said it before but I'll say it again, yeah. Every day. It doesn't matter what you look like, because I know that your smile is the most beautiful thing in the world." He said, looking down at the ground.

My cheeks were a bit flushed from the compliment.

Third Person PoV

When Lysander looked back up, there was a bright grin on Tanya's face.

"Then thank you. Thank you for being my friend." Lysander smiled back then stood up and took his hand.

As soon as they touched, Tanya felt electricity run through him. His eyes widened. Lysander noticed the shock and pulled away.

"Sorry! Did I hurt you? You were kinda tense when I touched you, I guess. I should have asked first." He scratched the back of his neck.

"It's okay... It's just, um, unexpected? Like, really unexpected." Tanya stuttered, still blushing. Lysander laughed lightly at her reaction.

"Okay. Then, would you mind if I stay here with you for some time until we go back tomorrow?" Lysander asked. Tanya nodded, still a little confused but happy to sit next to him any time.

They spent a few moments in silence. Lysander started humming something under his breath. Tanya smiled at how cute he looked.

They had known each other since they were very young but somehow hindi maalala ni Tanya na yung batang lalaki na lagi niyang kasama ay si Lysander. Palaging humahanap ng exact time si Lysander para masabi niya kay Tanya pero wala, palagi niyang nakikita si Tanya na umiiyak.

They could talk all night long and never get tired of talking or laughing.

Nagising ako dahil sa sinag ng araw na tumatama sa mukha ko. Mapungay ang mga ko nung dumilat ako at tumingin sa loob ng kwarto. Hinanap agad ng mata ko si Lysander. Natawa ako.
