I only wear eyeliner
On my worst days.
I'm warning you, right now-
Don't trust me on these days.
The mascara smudges
And runs down my face,
But eyeliner distracts the eyes
Without leaving a tear's trace.
The concealer wipes off,
And the blush rubs away;
Good thing I just wear eyeliner
When I have bad days.
Good thing something beautiful
Can come of my pain.
