I'm struggling
To hold on-
I'm fighting myself,
And I don't know
What to do anymore.
I find it increasingly difficult
To cope nowadays.
I can't control
What's happening to me,
And I'm sorry for the silence,
For the boring phone calls
And the drawn-out
Uneven breathing
Of my panic attacks.
I'm more susceptible to them.
Love.. I know I promised.
I promised I wouldn't,
And I didn't,
But it's becoming so hard
To find a reason for my heartbeat.
I fear I'm falling back again,
And I hope it isn't too much
To ask for my knight
To come rescue me
Before I'm too far gone.
