Of course, the feelings faded,

But they never went away,

And with every single heartbeat,

I wished that she had only stayed.

She's blinded by his fake smile,

She's hypnotized by his eyes..

If only I could show her

That everything he says is lies.

There he goes,

He let her down again,

And I'm left to clean up the mess,

I just hope she knows I'm there for her,

Through all the tears and all the stress.

He's broken her heart too many times before

And I think she's finally done,

But then she says she loves me..

Now I get a chance to be the one.
