You know I hate
To ask for help..
I don't want to burden you,
But I'm terrified;
I'm scared to death
Of the world around me.
I dare not look up
Into life's eyes,
For fear that it might take me-
This, to me, seems wrong.
I don't want to ask for help,
I don't want to drag you down
Into the dark with me,
But I fear that I might
Need you to save me..
