I want to see you smile;
To be the reason
For the light in your eyes.
I want to dance with you,
I want to hear you laugh.
I want to look back someday
And smile at our past.
I want to go outside,
Stand in the rain
And kiss you instead of crying;
Feel love instead of pain.
I want to hold you close to me
And to know that you're mine,
I want to hold your heart
Until the bitter end of time,
And although we have our demons,
Although you might have flaws,
I'd still want you regardless-
Shortcomings and all.
